a chance to heal and the start of something new
after an incident that left a little tension in the relationship, toto and kcirevam arn't in the best shape mentally. but after a toto does her usual thing of being stuipid, an opportunity arises that toto hopes will put both parties in better moods

this is part of a series- (idk how to sort litirtures on TH hELP) called "the unova adventure", its based on a playthrough of pokemon black 2 me and lazy are doing together, I play and she watches while we RP as our characters and make improve diolage for NPCs
its a lot of fun- fsdjklkfjlsd, hopefully the story will be good to
its not really mentioned here but- the "incident" is based off something that happened in RP, kiki learned something that toto did without context for why she did it- so he got really pissed and slamed her into the wall and electrocuted her, he feels really bad about it now tho

Toto dragged her hands on the wall as she walked, her human form giving her enough of a height boost to properly reach it. She cringed when her hand ran across a dent in the wall, the memory of being smashed against it by her own child still lingered in her mind. She shook her head and took a breath in, then out. This wasn't about that, this was about moving on. Taking her hand away from the wall Toto knocked on the door before her.
“Kiki? Can I come in and talk to you about something?”
“Huh? Uh… okay sure”
Opening the door, she walked into the child's room and approached the bed where the 8 foot 8 year old was sittingÂ
“Can I sit down?”
“Uh,” the genesect shifted a little nervously “...sure”
“Your not in trouble” that sentence seemed to calm the bug a bit as she sat down
Her ears twitched a bit as she scratched an itch on her head, silently cursing over struggling to reach the damn thing. Kcirevam watched on as his mother struggled, her human form was not one he was used to seeing, if it hadn't been for the large eevee ears and tail he most likely wouldn't have recognized her immediately.
“Sooo alcatraz is super mad at me right now. And needs me to be,” she used air quotes  “unavailable” for awhile, so he gave me these”
She reached into her pocket, a ticket and a candy wrapper coming out. She didn't notice the ladder as she lifted the former up for show.
“Free trip to unova! I was thinking about taking the league challenge there, I haven’t really traveled with anyone aside from my pokemon for awhile and you're originally from a version of unova soooo” her right leg twitched frantically, a nervous habit of hers “wanna come with me?
The proposal immediately brightened up the genesects mood from a 5 to a 10
“Really? You mean it!?” Kcirevam excitedly exclaimed
“Yeah really!” the human formally eevee but human again matched her son's excitement “it’ll be lots of fun!”  Â
“But wait- you only have one ticket” the genesect cocked his head in confusion
“Oh yeah, the tickets for you. I fuckin’ hate planes so i’ll be flying on latias along side while you fly on the plane itself” toto haned the ticket to Kcirevam.
“Oh, okay!” his question answered he perked back up, unable to wait for when they’d be heading out. “So when do we leave?”
“Oh uh… hold on lemme check” toto pulled out and unlocked it, intending to check the time, she nearly dropped the phone when she saw it
“We hAVE 3 HOURS” she jumped up, nearly knocking her child over
“OH-”
“PACK YO SHIT WE GOTTA GO” and she ran out of the room to pack hers.
It’d be about 20-30 minutes before the two would say their goodbyes and bust down the front down, sprinting off to their destination like the two lunatics they where
“Hey mom?” he asked while sprinting alongside her
“yeah?”
“What did you do to make mr.Alcatraz mad at you?”
“Oh, some dickhead I battled was mistreating his pokemon, so I back handed his ass while forgetting we were on live tv”
Kcirevam nodded accepting that answer, that was the usual thing toto would do in that situation, actually it's the best thing out of all the things she would do in that situation. The two sprinted till they reached the airport, where true to her word Kcirevam was loaded onto the plane while toto awkwardly stood around till take off. He was thankfully placed in a window seat where he could watch as toto road latias near the plane, at a safe enough distance away from the jet engines or pilot's view. She’d often do tricks to amuse the genesect till nearly falling off, where she and latias decided it’d be best if she just relaxed with some music for the rest of the flight.
