The rest of them catch up
Tano pokes a dead body, it is very dead
OC- The gaurds will remember this and send a fine to Arrunn (Arrunn- My team dumbass senses are tingling, i must take cover)
Aegas goes up to the front door and sees two guards
Aegas asks if Kas and Daria are inside
Everyone goes into the house
Tano recognizes the female catfolk thats dead in front of the house
Daria is checking out what else is in the deer head
They notice there is a mechanism that may shoot another dart if they mess with it
Tano tries to unlock the locking mechanism
The head clunks and shifts down and Allistor catches the head before it hits the ground
Its a bit heavier due to the mechanism in the deers head
Everyones head is brought to what the head was hiding behind it
Small indent, a jewlery sized box and a note
Tano grabs the note
If your are reading this then either one of two things has happen. I am dead or I am on deaths door. Please, in either case. Take the box away from this place. I have no clue how to open it or why i cant open it but, leave with it. The Cult of the Helvarius will hunt for this still. Protect it and maybe time will tell.
Tano, if you are reading this. Please stay safe. I never got the chance to tell you anything else about our family. I hope to have something for you soon if I still live. If not, then please see your family before you leave
the graves are out front
Tano then puts the stuffed tano they have with them in the spot where the box was and they put the deer head back up
It made some ominous clicking noises as it was put back up
Allistor takes the one dart on the ground
Box is ornate wood and inlays of gold, flower, swirls, symbols of some kind that cant make out
The symbols stretch across the lid and sides, bottom is void of anything colorful
Kas knows what it is- Its a box!- Its old writing, old religious text, before more common tongue, celestial
Kas gets the feeling that cuz of certain things are written, its written to one of the gods, as if they are protecting this box
Rionus, God of Law, Order, and Honor- His name and blessing is on this box
Allistor goes over to the piano and randomly starts hitting keys to try and “open a secret compartment”
Everyone but Tano hears stone grinding
Kas recognizes the sound from the fireplace
A red kobold (Kuss) sneaks in the hidden entrance
Tano staches the box in Aegas’s pouch, out of sight
Group A: Daria, Kas, and Tyr all go to the back of the building
Group B: Hissington, Allistor, Aegas and Tano go to the kitchen
Group B pulls out weapons
Well well well theres something red in the fireplace but its not a fire- Allistor
Allistor asks her why shes there
She says she isnt gonna lie, was hoping to steal some evidence
Shes not lying, but she isnt telling the whole truth, and is a bit more flighty
Allistor starts telling her what shes doing, and she offers herself to the guards
Team A
They leave the door and hear low voices
They try and get as close as they can without being seen so they can listen
All 3 can slightly see and hear
A human and a catfolk they have met in passing are talking
Talking about the secret entrance is locked on the inside
And the kobold wants to get something but they dont say what
They attempt to tackle the peoples
Daria grapples stab cat
Kas grapples the human- gently- growing big
And is successful
Tyr- And is this the part where we go good guard bad guard?
