From a young age Matsuri was quite a lively little cub. She loved to explore and cause some trouble from time to time. But hey! All little cubs must be a pest to thier parents right?!  She had a very curious personality and this was the reason she ended up in...quite unusual situations. One time the young cub saw what looked like a 'tree branch' moveing on its own. The young cub smiled brightly and attempted to approach this strange figure. Tiny paws standing on it, only to feel her father clamp his jaws around her scurff and pull her off. Followed by a hissing sound. Wait...tree branches dont hiss? Her father snarled ad raised his mighty paw -and like a true cat- he whacked it repeatedly untill the cobra left. After recieving a scolding from both her parents she learned that curiosity can be dangerous. But one cant help this addictive nature to discover the unknown. It came as no suprise when that nature clouded this young cub's senses. If only she didn't fall victim to it.

A strange scent lingered in the air, something foul. In a distance she saw black clouds? But they didn't look like clouds. It was dark and definitely didn't move like clouds. The cub glanced over her shoulder. Watching the two sleeping figures. She wont be away for that long...Famous last thoughts. When she got to its source she was absolutely horrified as she witnessed the blaze. Her body froze in fear as she felt herself being unable to move. Her mother roared in fear as she dove towards the cub, grabing the precious bundle as she broke into a sprint. Unfortunately there was no way out. The flames surrounded them. Thier hungry fiery tendrils dangerously comeing closer. Intended to devour the small family. Her mother pinned her ears back as it dawned upon her. Wordlessly she shut her eyes placeing the cub down. Huddleing her close.

Leaning downwards she nuzzled her young cub. Salty tears trailing down her cheeks. In a distance she heard her fathers painful roar. Her mother pulled back at the sound of it. "Run sweetheart. Dont look back." When she wanted to reply before  her mother grabbed the young cub. Eyes scanning around the surroundings. Once she saw a place untouched by the flames. She snarled and sped towards it, haveing to shy away from the heat of the blaze. Finding her path blocked she gazed down at the cub. Loss, sorrow, love...Swinging her head she sent the cub flying over the flameing wall. Matsuri meowed out in pain as her shoulder hit the hard ground.

"Mommy!" Another figure emerged from the flames as her father jumped trough. Checking to see if she was okay, when he asked where her mother was. After he heard that his eyes widened. Before it filled with sorrow. He hugged the young cub as he licked her forehead. "I-i love you my dear. But you must live, run away from here. Dont look back, just run-" He made to pull away but stopped him. "P-please!" He shook free of her grip and dashed into the flames. Matsuri wailed going after, but he made sure she can not follow. She turned and fled as the fire grew worse. Leading towards where she met Ar Ramlah and where he raised her.

Of course she was hostile at first. Being exposed to sutch terrible and frightening conditions. She was scared and alone. Lashing out on instinct to defend herself. However the male was patient and slowly won over the cub with kindness and patience. Two traits she obtained from him. Over time she learned confidence. A trait she obtained from her mother. Her honesty from her father. Ar Ramlah's words and gentle nature healed her. She took his words wherever she went

"The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed."

But the only one who chould heal her broken heart and mend it together was Keanjaho. By his side she became her true self.
