Denny woke up that morning particularly excited. He had just finished his dragon stable the night before, and he was ready to move all of his pets into their new home.

The inside of the stables was very complex (thank you, locket!), with hooks to hang the eyes that stored each dragon lining the walls, pens that the dragons could sleep in, and a large opening that they could play around in whenever they please. It was perfect.

He started with Buttercup. The girl never had some outdoors time, and now that she had her own little lake to explore, he thought it would be safe for her to come out and enjoy herself. He let her loose, making sure to talk to her as if she were a wee widdle baby, and then hung her eye on the wall.

The next was Burnt Chicken Nugget. It was a new dragon, but Denny loved this little fella all the same. He let the dragon loose in the play area, and hung the eye right next to buttercup’s. The dragon was eager to spread his wings and flap around the large clearing. Denny laughed as Nugget swept up the air around him, covering his face to block any debris from knocking off his sunglasses.

The third was Stinky. Stinky never really did much, but Denny supposed that she deserved a place to laze around and take naps. So that’s exactly what he provided for her. Stinky curled up next to a large haybale and rested her eyes the second that Denny let her loose in the enclosure. The ender man (haha) couldn’t help but chuckle. Stinky was always a lazy gal.

The last were Grumpy and Crabby. The two rooststalkers weren’t very active, but they did like to run and roll around in grass. Denny had made (or, well, denny had made Tocket make) a separate shelf for them so that they couldn’t be stepped on. There was a fence gate so that his son could take them out whenever he wanted. Denny watched Bee’s babies scurry around excitedly.

After perfecting the enclosures, Denny collapsed in the grass of the clearing, sighing and looking up at the cloudy sky. Burnt chicken nugget landed in the clearing next to him.

“You like your new home, little buddy?” Denny said, looking to Nugget. The black dragon snorted, and laid down next to him. Denny grinned.

“D'aww. I knew you would.”
