Peaceful days
"Good afternoon, my sweet and adorable little Teddy Bear!"

Cozy practically pounced on the hyena from behind, snatching her up in a big squishy cuddly hug. Bear was a little startled, having been knocked off her feet but Cozy held her close, squeezing her in a hug. She resisted the urge to swipe at her (knowing it was just her energetic wife) and instead just rolled her eyes.

"Hello to you too, Cozy."

"How's it going?" The water dragon asked, still cuddling her wife. "Did'ja sell anything today?"

Bear shrugged.

"Just a couple of trinkets. Some cool gemstones I found in the forest a few days ago. Do you remember those?"

Cozy thought for a moment. Her eyes lit up as she nodded.
"Oh! The blue rocks! Yeah, I remember."

"I sold them to somebody around here," Bear said. "He said he'd put them in his husband's collection. Isn't that sweet?"

"Sweet, but not as sweet as you my lovely cuddlebug!" Cozy squealed, squeezing her wife affectionately. She ruffled her fluffy mohawk and sighed happily, grinning. "I love you, my sweetie little pumpkin pie~"

The little hyena couldn't help but smile back.

"I love you too, you big behemoth."

Cozy let go after a moment, pausing to pick up some bags that had fallen by her side. Bear fixed her glasses back up onto her nose (having had them knocked off slightly) and stood back at her desk. She had turned around for a moment when Cozy tapped her on the shoulder.

"I was out today," she chattered. "I went to collect some groceries. By the way, how does salmon steak for dinner sound? I really wanna eat some yummy salmon."

"Sounds good," Bear replied, cracking a grin. "Salmon and lemon?"
"Salmon and lemon it is!" Cozy laughed. "So when I was coming back with all our food and stuff, I walked past a shop and I spotted something real cute - almost as cute as you!- in the window."

"Uh huh...?"
"Sooo.... I got it for you!" Cozy said, bending down and picking something up out of the bags she'd brought with her. "Tadaa!"

She presented a large brown fuzzy stuffed alpaca to her wife. She was right: It was absolutely adorable. Bear's jaw dropped as Cozy thrust it into her arms.

"Do you love it? Because love it. Isn't it so cute? Cute just like you!"
Bear was pretty much at a loss for words, staring at the alpaca's cute sewn on face in awe.

"Oh, honey!" Bear exclaimed after a moment. "You're always getting me such sweet gifts like this. Thank you so much! I love it!"

Cozy squealed, clapping her giant paws and snatching her little wife into a hug again.

"Yay! I'm happy you love it! I love it, I love youuuu~!"

She laughed, happily jumping up and down with her wife in her arms. Bear just smiled, trying her best to hug her big wife back.

"Ah, you're always so sweet to me, Cozy. What would I do without you?"
Cozy grinned widely.

"Well, we won't have to find out. I'll always be here, don't you worry!"

"Of course," Bear said, nodding to herself. "I'll be here for you too, Cozy."

"Yay!" She set her down again, still smiling widely. "Oooh, idea! Let's go on a nice trek tomorrow. I wanna check out that cool waterfall we saw last time we were out exploring."

"Oh, sounds like a plan," Bear agreed.

"Wouldn't it be so cool? I wanna show it to you too! I think we'd love it! I wanna show you lots of cool places."

"That's fine with me, honey!"

Anywhere where Cozy went, she wanted to tell Bear all about it. She wanted to show her lovely wife everything she saw, everything lovely!

Anywhere she went was fine as long as she had Bear.

She was glad Bear felt the same. She couldn't ask for a better wife!
