It isn’t the first time she’s felt this way, she’s felt like this beforehand, but only in her dreams. She felt detached from her own reality, while observing her dreams through a windowpane. Grand adventures roll by, where a girl in her image proceeds valiantly with sword in hand alongside a boy adorned in violet. They were always hand in hand, going against unspeakable odds. The strings of fate fastened a knot ‘round their wrists, tying them for eternity.

( ah – this cycle of tragedy will continue to repeat itself. )

But as the windowpane crumbles, a glass pane reveals itself before her. She rushes toward it, pressing against its surface. She sees him, the boy whose hair curled at its ends, dark as the night sky. He was with someone else, no – two other people, one of them she recognized, but the other she didn’t. She presses against the pane, more and more.

Come on, come on–– I want to see him, I need to see him.

The cage she’s enclosed herself in rattles, causing the group to step back out of fright. She pushes hard from the inside and the coffin opens, mist seeping out of the container. Gravity takes her, allowing her to take flight for a short while and she stumbles, falling right into him.

“Wol……fram….” Vanessa smiles, while draping an arm around his shoulder, she can’t see his face but his body trembles. “Go….od to see you–– wh…where am I?” She laughs a bit, she can’t feel her legs right now, but she was able to move regardless. “I missed you.”
