Zaz was laying on the couch, napping peacefully. His older brother, Shizuka, was visiting today and he needed to conserve his energy. He definitely wasn’t just being lazy. His purple hair rested on his snout, causing his slow, deep breaths to blow it up into the air every so often. Even though he was in a pretty deep sleep, he jumped up as soon as he heard the door open and he ran over to greet his older brother, jumping on him and knocking him to the ground, making his black hair get all dirty.

“Hey, calm down! You don’t have to act so crazy!” Shizuka said with a groan as he stood up and did his best to clean out his hair. Although he sounded upset, he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of his younger brother. He was so busy with work, it felt like it had been forever since they got to hang out. That just meant that they had to make the best out of today.“ I know, but I’m just so excited!” Zaz replied. “So, what are we gonna do today? I was thinking we could play some games, get some good food, then maybe commit a war crime or two.” He said with a playful laugh as the two walked inside.

Their sister, Elvis, groaned as she walked down the stairs into the living room. “Can you two be any more annoying? Keep the noise down.” “Oh we can definitely be more annoying.” Zaz said with a grin; he opened his mouth to say something else, but Shizuka put a paw on his shoulder and rolled his eyes. “Let’s not get on her bad side, alright? How about I make some breakfast?” “Ooh that sounds great!” The younger boy said before running to the kitchen.

Elvis smirked and chuckled to herself as she followed them. She could find a way to pay them back for waking her up so early. While Zaz was setting the table, and Shizuka was busy cooking, she quickly emptied out the salt shaker, then filled it with sugar. That would make for a very interesting breakfast.

Shizuka didn’t seem to notice at all; He sprinkled a good amount of what he thought was salt into the eggs without a clue. Elvis chuckled to herself and sat down at the table, sipping from a cup of coffee. She had to see their reactions up close, and this was the best seat in the house. Revenge is sweet, after all.

But when the two boys started eating their breakfast, they seemed to be enjoying it. Were their taste buds messed up? What was wrong with them? She got up from the table, shook the salt shaker into her paw, and gave it a taste. Sure enough, it tasted like salt. Then she stuck her paw into the sugar container and tasted that, but it was salty too. She fumed with rage as she realized that Zaz must have filled it with salt as a prank. Well, she’d just have to find some other way to ruin their day.

After the boys finished their meal, they decided to go watch a movie together. This was another perfect opportunity for Elvis. The three of them went to the theater and Elvis, using money she had expertly taken from Shizuka without him noticing, went up to pay for the tickets. Only instead of getting tickets for the movie they wanted, she got tickets for some lame kids movie. She lead them to the theater room without them suspecting anything, and before the movie started she excused herself, saying she had to use the restroom. But instead, she waited outside for the movie to end. There was no way she would watch such a dumb, boring movie. She just wanted to see her brothers’ reactions.

However, when Zaz and Shizuka walked out of the room, they were laughing. “I don’t know why we got the wrong tickets,” Zaz said, “But that movie was full of the kinds of jokes that go over kids’ heads!” “Yeah. I never would’ve chosen to watch it, so I’m really glad that the mix up happened!” Shizuka replied as they left the theater, heading home.

Elvis growled to herself as she followed them. Her plans were foiled twice in one day? Why was this happening to her? She was more determined than ever to ruin their day. It would happen, she was sure of it.

When they got home, Shizuka wanted to show Zaz what he does for a living. He set up a portable sound booth, which gave Elvis yet another idea. While Zaz and Shizuka were preoccupied, she hurried upstairs to grab a fake snake that she kept just to scare Shizuka with it. She snuck back down the stairs, and threw the snake into the sound booth before closing the door, causing Shizuka to scream loudly and run outside.

Elvis was rolling on the floor laughing, and was surprised to see that Zaz was laughing too. “That scream sounded so real, dude!” Zaz said through his laughter. “That was perfect for the scene you were doing!” Elvis quickly stopped laughing. She had accidentally helped make their day even better again? What would it take to ruin their stupid day? She finally gave up and sighed. “Whatever. I’ll be in my room. Make sure you guys keep the noise down.” She grumbled before heading back upstairs.

“Hey, thanks for helping making our day better, Elvis! I really didn’t expect that from you!” Shizuka said after learning that the snake was just a toy. After the girl went upstairs, the two boys finished up recording then spent the rest of the day playing games. All in all, it was a great day.
