Ember 013 [Starter]

Finally detaching themselves from the animals, with promises they can come back later, Iniko led the little group out of the gates so they could enjoy some more of the fair.
It was Ember that picked the next tent, squealing when she saw a board displaying different face paint options. “We need to do this, come on it’ll be fun, just like we’re kids again playing dress up!”
“And here I thought you were still a child.”
The puller’s playful banter caused her tails to waggle in irritation, matching the tiny playful pout she had going on. “Alright, besides, I see another board with hairstyles. Our companion here has quite a lot of hair for them to play with, what do you think?”
The genie chaser perked right up, a grin spreading across her face as ideas wound through the wheels in her brain. “Oh yes.”
Before Koma had a choice in the matter, Iniko was behind him, pushing the runner into the tent.
Koma had no time to argue, the chaser had clenched a mouthful of his hair to pull him inside their chosen fair tent and Iniko worked to push him from behind so he couldn’t possibly escape it.
The two mischievously dragged him inside and with a bounce at the end, Ember squealed excitedly when her eyes met with all the different accessories that fashioned the area.
“Look at all this stuff!” She chanted with eyes bounding from one item to another with pure excitement , already trying to pick out some things that she could stick in the ruby and snow runner’s long mane..
Inside the tent felt like it was ten times its size from what they had seen from the outside and there were costumes, wigs, bling and so much more everywhere. It was almost overwhelming to try and take it all in at once but regardless, it was impressive.
“Iniko, look!” Ember pointed towards a large chest, it looked old but it was filled to the brim with accessories and costumes.
Koma had yet to say anything, but all he could do was chuckle at her enthusiasm at first.
“I better look marvelous at the end of this~” He teased them both with a fling of his long mane and a quirky smile.
Iniko had a small skill he didn't usually show. He often adopted in the children wherever he might be, and take them under his wing so they had someone to look up to and care for him. He was a big softie as much as he would never admit it.
Taking care of the children, making sure they were fed and cleaned and could take care of themselves, he picked up little habits here and there. One of which involved hair. When he saw Ember's enthusiasm, he grinned and gestured towards the chest.
"Find some stuff you think would look great on us all. I have this to attend to." The wicked grin turned soft as he started humming quietly under his breath, grabbing a comb and carefully making sure there were no knots in the runner's mane.
He then set his paws to work, braiding the ruby and snow strands into a beautiful hairdo, keeping it out of the other male's eyes, while still looking fantastic. Even if the costume pieces weren't going to last long on them, the hair should keep in place for a while.
Ember handed him bedazzled jeweled hair pieces, oohing and ahhing with every addition, commenting on his work at blending braids and an elegant macramé look. He knew how to do hair from helping the children, but it wasn't a talent of his he would go around sharing. Ember ran to grab some outfit pieces, trying to find something that would match, while Iniko grabbed a mirror. Holding it out for the other vay to catch a glimpse of himself, he chuckled.
"Now you're looking like a mighty fine prince."
Koma had kept his eyes squeezed shut for the duration of the makeover, trying hard not to spoil himself for the final result, not even letting one snoop in. And when he heard the words he slowly pried them open, one at a time. He peeped towards the mirror that was presented to him and let what he saw sink in.
The fair’s lights against the dark tent’s cloth lined up perfectly with Koma’s silhouette.
“Wow…” the ruby dusted runner began with astoundment in his voice.
“Wow, you guys-” He couldn’t believe his eyes.
“I didn’t know you could braid like this, and the little jeweled flowers are such a cute touch! I love it!” He praised with the widest of smiles on his face, turning back to look at Iniko and Ember trying to control his wiggly grin. He was far more excited than he tried to let show.
Iniko could tell by the ton of his voice that the runner was impressed. Ember squealed and bounced around, clearly glad that the other male liked it.
She bounded back and forth, trying to find outfits for both her and Iniko, and the larger puller knew that Koma was best in show now.
"I suppose it won't stay the entire rest of the fair, but it will last for a good amount." The blanketed puller grinned, now even bothering to hide his pride at a job well done. That was when Ember pounced on him.
"Inikoooooo! Try this one!" Unlike him, the small chaser didn't have the same sense of fashion, and the male was bound to look like a downright clown by the time the female was done with him. "I guess it's my turn."
He winked at Koma, smiling and prepared for whatever outfits Ember picked for them to enjoy the rest of the fair.
