BEGINNING

After Estrin had managed to set his spell binding aside, the day was quite exciting for Nate. He was excited to finally spend some time with his brother after all that had happened. He started to pack his backpack of sandwiches and a few drinks in his backpack before heading downstairs. He and Estrin lived in a major manor and the two shared rooms equally. They usually didn’t question each other’s work in their rooms as they respected privacy, but today was different. Estrin was waiting in the living room near the front door and saw Nate.

“Alright, are you ready to go?” He asked.

“Of course! Thanks for spending time with me this evening.” Nate said.

“No problem.” Estrin replied. “You know I’m sorry for not spending time with you.”

Nate smiled. “It’s fine. The past was long ago, we’re fine now. Ooh! Want to eat over there?” He pointed to a hill range, the dusk stars glittered and Estrin nodded.

“Sure. Let’s go.”

The two headed to hill range, chatting and messing around, their brotherly bond strengthened with this conversation and the two finally made it to their destination.

“Alright, bring out the food...and drinks.” Estrin added at the end. Nate tried to hold his laugh in.

“Oh, you are so funny Estrin. Here.” He sat down on the grass and took out sandwiches, snacks, a few candies, and sodas. “Looks good. Alright, let’s eat.”

The two brothers started to eat their dinner. As they ate, they stargazed and joked around.

“Haha! So uh- do you plan on participating in some more arena matches?” Nate asked. Ever since Estrin became a necromancer, he hadn’t participated in arena matches, but was still quite powerful. “Uh, maybe. Depends on how busy I may be.” Estrin chuckled.

The two finished their food and were finishing what was left of their snacks and drinks. “Hey you should try this Nate, I used to love these.” He handed him some mini roll snacks from a bag. Nate tilted his head in interest and took two. He took a bite and enjoyed the sweet sensation of chocolate. “Wow! They’re delicious. I like them.” He chuckled. Estrin brought Nate closer to him and placed his arm along Nate’s shoulder.

“Do you like stargazing?” Nate thought about previous times he went outside without Estrin and smiled. “Yeah, it’s nice. I haven’t learned much about constellations overall, but it’s alright.” Estrin chuckled. “Well, let’s learn now.”
