Room of Free Verse

Another adventure begins

Where my skills and experience will help

with only one chance to fullfil a mission

Trying to not be torn apart

to not die, or fail.

With tramps everywhere, activating by a touch

by a small walk.

I hide behind pillars, behind my own fear

not wanting the spears or arrows to hit me

fighting back if necessary, with fire to burn the weapons

using my tail to impulse to a new level

another step, trying to survive

to live.

When the dark is upon me

a torch is in front, waiting for my arrival

I grab it, and a new door appears

Enemies appeared

A prelude of a warning, an announcement

more were coming, I had to fight back

More torches turned on

revealing a big door, made of gold

with silver ornaments, surrounded by a hoard of dark creatures

I had to make a plan, to avoid these, or fight

my goal I have to reach

one that will free me from this nightmare.

The door is my goal, the only one

I started to jump on their heads

Avoiding their hands reaching me

I arrived to the door, and tried open it

they surrounded me, trapped me

I just saw one chance to use my fire

to impulse me back, like a rocket going into space

I did it, light filled the room, I arrived to the door

Opened it, and say my goodbyes to them

Never knew that, that wasn't the end.

A new enemy was in front, a big one

The boss room I reach.
