"My sweetest wife, the sunset is lovely but there is no star as beautiful as you." He turned from watching the sun and looked at her, brushing some stray hair out of her face.
She chuckled before straightening her face "And you my dear husband, my love for you is greater than all of suns that have ever set before and will ever set again."
He sat down on the grass, holding her hand in his she sat too. "Our love burns brighter than the center of the sun"
"Longer than the time the earth will spin, longer than eternity."
"More powerful that life, than death, than all of time itself." He seated her on his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist, the dress was getting grass stains but they didn't care about that.
She looked at him very seriously "My love for you is stronger than anyone who's ever loved in all of history."
"My love for you is- uh, fiercer than a mother tiger protecting her cubs from an army of... penguins."
And with that she could no longer keep a straight face, "What!?" she burst out laughing, her radiant smile catching the last rays of sunlight as it dipped below the horizon. At seeing this he too could no longer contain his laughter. After a few minutes they just sat there staring at each other's smiles, the sky filled with stars and lit with a near-full moon.
She grinned her trademark grin and he chuckled his oh no right before she shoved him down the hill- but before he started rolling he got a hold of her lacy dress and she let out a shriek of surprise as she too was pulled over, they both rolled down the hill, it wasn't a big hill but by the time they reached the bottom they were soaked with dew, slightly bruised and laughing even harder than before.
