I(b) 8: Write about this character's views on parenthood. What do they think the role of a parent is? do they want to be a parent someday? Do they have a good parental relationship themselves?

Matsuri's views on parenthood, well there was never any doubt that she wanted cubs. Even a few, perhaps two...three dang perhaps even six! If she has cubs in the future she can imagine feeling fulfilled,  overjoyed and actually understand what real motherly love feels like. She wants to feel the primal instinct of a mother lioness kick in, feel the need to defend her cubs against anything that wants to deal harm upon them. Heck, it whould be a bloody bloodbath if anyone even dared to harm her family. The best thing about being a parent -even if she isn't yet- and in her opinion is watching her cubs grow and change, as well as their inquisitiveness and curiosity.  And not only that but the little things as well. She can not be more proud when seeing her cubs interact with thier friends, elders and the pride in general. Even just thinking about it makes her heart ach with longing and love tend to be the big things that make you proud or make your heart ache with love. Some might argue magic isn't real, but that feeling is truely magical. She likes to see the perspective of her cubs and watch  them grow and witness their ups and downs. However she understands that it will be a hard path to walk. For example there whould be no opportunity to pause, take a breath, or reevaluate her priorities as a huntress. The mental and physical exhaustion can become too much. The lioness whould chuckle slightly, she will be visiting the elders den soon enough.

Among other things Warm, loving interactions is important to her. She will

treat every interaction as an opportunity to connect with her cubs . Being warm with her expressions, giveing eye connect, and smileing. Also to have boundaries, rules & consequences. COMMUNICATION It is also important to listen and empathise with her cubs to Acknowledge thier  feelings, and to show them she understands, and reassure that she is there to help them whenever they have problems.

Problem Solving is also a factor, to help her cub to problem solve. Being  a good role model and show them how to behave through her own actions.

What does she think is the role of a parent?

Of course most importantly she makes sure her about her cub's basic needs, such as food, medical care, and shelter to name a few as well as give love, attention, understanding, acceptance, time, and support. She must learn to be patient, and have fun with her cubs.  And to also make time for her cubs, and show an interest in them and their activities, and encourage them to pursue their passions. And to Play together, it is important to her cubs development. Especially for survival. If they are to grow into strong, young hunters. They must know how to defend themselves and how to hunt. For that reason, she will spend her free time playing and teaching them the art of fighting and hunting and to eat meals together and to listen and empathise with her cubs and lastly to Spend one on one time with her cubs.

Quality, individual time each cub can strengthen thier bond, builds their self-esteem and lets them know they are valued.

She whould prevent herself from  constantly raiseing the bar on her cubs expectations,  she knows they might get overwhelmed by the tasks in front of them and gradually lose the sort of openness and sense of accomplishment they innately have. And she thinks that the best thing she can do for her cubs is to allow them to do things for themselves, allow them to be strong, allow them to experience life on their own terms. She whould aid her cubs when they needed her. But in the end, they must grow by themselves and learn for themselves.

Does she want to be a parent one day. YES! It is her dream to become a loveing mother. As mentioned she wants to feel the And lastly does she have a good parental relationship herself? Well yes!...She loved her parents dearly, treasureing what she learned from them.  After they passed she was heartbroken by thier loss. But she treasured thier memories. She learned many things from her parents and she loved them dearly.
