Halloween Madlib (Note: Use Strudels or Arborlings specifically for the story to make sense!)

It’s finally Halloween night, and throughout the Midveil world everyone is filled to the brim with excitement. I stood within my bedroom , mentally preparing myself for the delightful night ahead! Gazing proudly at myself in the mirror, I admired my vampire costume, it was super spooky! I was sure to impress my friends, Ophelia and Parni. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, causing me to snap out of my thoughts. Excited as could be, I found myself scampering over to the door, opening it to greet my friends! They stood there with grins on their faces, respectively dressed as an angel and a devil.

“Looking amazing you two!” I complimented.

“You too, Gummy!” They replied.

And so, we slipped out into the night, eager to get ourselves some delicious candy! Looking around we spotted a bunch of other Midveilers, all dressed up in scary costumes. It was a bountiful night, and as we wandered through the town we heard something that sounded like crying over by the haunted house.

“Woah!” I shouted, “What was that?”

“D-Do you think it was a ghost?” Ophelia asked.

“Nonsense!” Parni scoffed, ghosts don’t exist!”

Slowly, we creeped over to the source only to find out that it was a crying Trickster! We were told that Tricksters were trouble, but their crying was just so worrisome!

“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked.

The Trickster sniffled, looking over at me with puppy eyes. “I just wanted to have fun…” they spoke, “but a group of Strudels chased me away….”

Looking amongst each other, we shared a smile as if sharing the same idea.

“Why don’t you come with us?” We offered.

The trickster jumped to his feet. “R-really?”

We all nodded, and the smile that appeared on the Trickster’s face was so adorable that it made all of us smile with them!

The night dashed by and we had so much fun with our new Trickster friend! The candy may have been sweet, but nothing was sweeter than the feeling of helping someone in need.

END.
