“I can take care of myself just fine, thank you,” Sylvester said, his voice pitched slightly higher.
Chester snorted, “Yeah, says the mile long bags under your eyes.” He pointed out for everyone else to notice, then motioned toward what Sylvester was holding. “And your nutritious breakfast of coffee and… is that gummy bears wrapped in a fruit roll up…?”
Sylvester’s lips pressed into a thin line, his eyes squinting as he observed his creation. “Perhaps.”
Sylvester tried not to color as he heard not only Ji, but also Vincent and Ka’ris snickering behind him. Thankfully, Su was absent from the room, for he was sure she would have her own complaints as well.
“Uh-huh, yeah, that’s what I thought.” With a flick of his finger Chester launched the roll straight into the incinerator. Sylvester didn’t even have time to react apart from hearing the HISSSSS as his poor breakfast went up in flames.
