I(b) 7: Elaborate about a time this character learned a harsh lesson, or suffered an extreme turning point in their life.

The young lioness smiled brightly as she darted between the undergrowth, happily laughing as a larger figure chased after her. Her forest green eyes turned to look behind her, seeing who was chaseing her. The large male gave a low rumble -tinged in playfulness- as he sped up. "You can not outrun the king of the jungle! Fear me! Fear my mighty roar!" This caused the female to speed up throwing her head back in a chuckle....

Matsuri opened her eyes as her body jerked awake. Already she felt herself tremble. Please no. She does not want to remember. This is all but a memory, a distant, painful and deadly memory. Yet, her mind strained to remember and she can do nothing but allow it to flow trough her head.

The world shifted into focus. A young cub playing with her father. He chuckled and caught up with his daugter, useing his paw -claws sheathed- to carefully trip her so he can loom over the younger lioness. "And so...The mighty King has caught the slippery young little cub! Oh...what shall i do with thee?" Matsuri smiled mistiviously as he placed her front paws on his nose. "Fear the migty queen! For i have come to slay you!" With those words she pounced forwards, the male faked a stumble and landed flat on his back. Wailing in defeat as she pinned him down. "I have slayed the ruler and i hereby claim the throne!" The two laughed as the father hugged his daughter in a warmful embrace.

This memory is made her smile, even as tears rolled down her cheek...She loved and treasured that memory. Yet her happiness was short lived as it swirled back towards THAT day...A young female running across the fast green expanse of forest. Allowing the moist earth to go trough her toes. She felt a bit guilty...Haveing left her parents side when they strictly said not to, her father was out on patrol while her mother had to go hunt. They were a pride of three...Just the family so of course there were times she was left alone. If she only listened to them.

The young female smiled as she took in the lush scenery before her. When something caught her curious gaze. A strangely striped stick? But why was it red and yellow? Did some sticks look like that?! Her ears pirked upwards as she puffed out her chest in pride. She had to show her mother and father! With an expression of determination she walked towards it to pick it up. But to her shock it began to move...When she noticed what stood before her she took a step backwards, her eyes filled with terror. An angry looking coral narrowed its piercing gaze upon the young cub. Parting his jaws to reveal sharp enloged fangs, dripping with deadly venom. The cub scrambled to get away but her clumsy paws caused her to stumble and trip. When turning around she was met with the dark ominous shadow and figure of the snake.

"Isss the old saying true? Curiosity as posssionous as desert rue? I can tell you a fact...it isss indeed Curiosity that killed the cat" the snake hissed with a sinister smile. Rearing his head back to strike when a figure jumped in front of her. Takeing the poisonous blow to his shoulder. The male snarled in pain as the poison immediately took affect. The snake hissed and made to strike the cub again. But he paused and grinned. "Be your lucky day young cub. Just your luck, today you shall utter no liesss, for what is better to watch your father...die before your eyesss? A lesson indeed its true. For a emotion as deadly as desert rue" With those words he slithered away ans left the young cub to watch the male struggle for breath.

She felt tears streaming down the sides of her face. "Daddy! I- please daddy don't leave me-" The male smiled nuzzling his daughter. "I love you my flower. Be...good...to your...m-mother heh? Don't forget me-" She sat by his side that night, watching and waiting for the mother of the skies to take his soul up above. When her mother found her she was still on the verge of tears. The memory faded as she hung her head.

"Four be the things I am wiser to know

:Idleness, sorrow, a friend, and a foe.

Four be the things I'd been better without:

Love, curiosity, freckles, and doubt.

Three be the things I shall never attain:

Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Three be the things I shall have till I die:

Laughter and hope and a sock in the eye"

I(b) 9: Someone deals a great harm to this character, when confronted, they claim it was an accident. Does your character believe them? How do they respond?

Matsuri jerks away as Aki flinched. "Matsuri im sorry i-" the male was abruptly cut off with a low rumbling snarl from the male beside her. Keanjaho beared his teeth angrily as he suddenly darted fowards. Slamming the large bulky male down onto the ground. He used his large paws to press against the male's windpipe. Causing him to start coughing as he chocked. However he did not release his death grip. Aki a full fledged and well respected warrior will not be killed. Survival instinct kicking in he used his hind legs to push the male over his head to allow himself to stand up. Keanjaho a healer, not too skilled in the art of fighting still stood his ground. Bearing his fangs in a clear warning. To which the male gladly responded to. Matsuri turned her head aways as if to stop the tears from flowing. However it was no use as the floodgates opened. Her hickups echoing acroos the space, causing the two males to turn and face her.

Aki -anger- forgotten parted his jaws to say something. An apology but none came as Keanjaho cut him off harshly. But the lioness spoke up finally. "Please...just leave me" Aki took a step fowards. "It was an accident. Please...accept my apology, i did not know what i-"

"YOU LIED TO ME!" She roared in rage, her eyes narrowed and filled with destructive fire and magma. "You LIED! HOW CAN I TRUST YOU AGAIN?! This is not acceptable! You hurt me! You nearly killed me! And for what?" Well maby she is over reacting now. He did raise his paw to her, he did injure her. But he did not kill her nor came close to it. However if one chould say you can kill one's trust. He did, he killed her trust he had not only broke the fragile exterior of her, but he had shattered his friendship with her and her mate.

When she returned from a hunt one of her lionness were killed, an accident when they triggerd a stampede. A dangerous one at that. She had some basic fighting experience and she tried her best to distract the beast so she can get away. Yet, Aki's mate found herself trapped...Unfortunately she did nit survive the sharp edged hooves and horns of death. When Aki came to them with tears in his eyes as he demanded where his mate was. The lioness shut her eyes as she told him what happened. Aki stared at her before he snarled in rage and swiped at her face.

Time seemed to slow and come to an halt. Deadly silence filled the air, and the only sound of blood dripping on the damp ground. Aki beared his teeth only to suddenly retreat backwards. "I-....im sorry i-it w-was an accident i dont know w-what came over me-"

And now she is snarling at him. The words tinged with poison. "I TRIED TO SAVE HER! Do you think i whould have left her for dead?!" The tears streamed down her face, like a never ending stream of emotions. Aki was devastated trying his best to try and speak to her, to beg her for forgiveness. Yet she was haveing none of it. She looked at him, ensnareing him with her eyes. And the words she spoke next...Shattered him completely.

"It's possible to rebuild a relationship after a breach of trust...you broke me , It's ok

You broke my trust, It's not ok" she took a breath then continued. "When someone has broken the trust you bestowed in them, their likely to do it again. I believe you will do it again Aki. Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair. You just proven that...And the word 'sorry' works when a mistake is made, but not when trust is broken. So in life, make mistakes but never break trust. Because forgiving is easy, but forgetting and trusting again is sometimes impossible.” she turned around as she said over her back. "Actions speak louder then words-" Aki made to follow after her but Keanjaho blocked his path. "Keanjaho please tell her-" "Leave my mate alone Aki, you brought thus upon yourself"

I(b) 10: Write about this character's morality system. What do they see as good, and what do they see as wrong? What is most important at both ends of this spectrum to them?

Firstly looking at what a mortality system is. An moral system is a system of coherent, systematic, and reasonable principles, rules, ideals, and values which work to form one’s overall perspective. Not just any rules, of course, but moral values? Each individual has a moral system to some extent although most probably do not have an ethical system. A moral system is one's morality. Morals are formed out of a person's values. Values are the foundation of a person's ability to judge between right and wrong. Morals build on this to form specific, context-driven rules that govern a person's behavior. They're formed from a person's life experience and are subject to opinion. Now what does she see as good?

Let us start by her most important one.

Always tell the truth, this should not come as a suprise as this Lioness is the very definition of honesty. "Trust is an foundation, a foundation -a strong one at that- can lead to a strong relationship. A weak ans shattered foundation well..." Matsuri continued "There are two sides to the truth. The first side is when we speak the truth, and the other side is when others speak the truth to us." When she was asked what the importance of truth was she responded. "It is important to speak the truth, otherwise, it will come out on its own. We waste time and energy when we avoid the truth. We must understand that the truth always comes out. Instead of using blame, shame, justification or straight out lying, we need to tell the truth"

"Now for the second side of that relationship is receiving the truth. Of course, our ego has many needs, including a need to be offended. Sometimes we put conditions, judgments and higher expectations on others than we do for ourselves. The truth WILL ALWAYS come out, no matter what..."

She went on...

"Truth is so powerful because it's the only thing that can make or break a realionship and its most important variable. TRUST" Now on to the second one she sees as good. Keep your promises. "This one walks hand to hand with the truth. A promise can go a long way in personal relationships. It is a commitment to follow through on your word. If you can not then you are not commiting to your realionship. Take each promise you make seriously to ensure that you are not the one causing unnecessary distrust"  As for others..One must take r esponsibility for one's actions. And you must be generous. Matsuri sits down to go more in depth. Forest tinged eyes shineing brightly. "Why must you accept responsibility then? Because by accepting responsibility for the things one can control, one whould feel more positive about life in general. It is also an important part of maintaining a healthy realionship"

Bu accepting responsibility it will grant the power to make positive changes with one's life and identify things that you want or need in life." She paused a moment to take a breath, the young cub's never ending questions makeing her dizzy and tired. But she kept on going. "The biggest one of all is to be generous. Because trough the single act of a kind gesture, you can save a life or more. It can heal and mend wounds that only compassion can do so. Not only does it make others feel good and thankful. But you too..." She addressed the cub now fully.  "Acts of generosity, such as giving your time, talent or resources, and expecting nothing in return, have been proven to be good for our health. When you do this you feel  personally more fulfilled, happier and more peaceful within yourself. It is better to give kindness then to demand it young one. When you only give things to recieve things in return. You are not a compassionate or a generous individual. It is sutch a warm feeling when you see what your kindness does to others."

"And as i said before you can even save not one, not two, not a dozen but countless lives with just a single gesture of kindness." She stood up as she nudged the cub upwards. "Never forget these words i am about to say to you. For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”
