GnG: Try for a roll

I won. I really can’t believe it, I’m usually so bad at playing cards. The cheers resonate around me, I feel my pirate friend laughing and hugging me with one arm from the side. The cheers and laughs stop when a very displeased grunt comes from a very angry Orc. I look up and see he’s furious, his eyes almost on fire and he’s focused on me. Oh no, he will crush me. He’s moving around the table, pushing away everyone in his path. Good thing the table is big. I stand up and I can hear my friend cheering on me. I guess I’m not getting any help. 

I try to remember what Fuine taught me. I use a light spell directly to his face when he’s going to hit me, so I dodge easily and jump on his back. I get an herb from my pouch and I scrub it against his face. It’s a sleeping herb, so luckily it will be enough to knock him out.

It didn’t work as planned and he moved backwards. I don’t have time to react and when I realize what he wants to do it’s too late. I feel the wall against my back and he’s crushing me with his full weight. I let go of him and I fall to the ground. I see he’s still blinking and now he’s even more furious. He manages to look at me with blood-shot eyes and he raises his leg to kick me. I roll and grab a chair close by. I dodge his furious kicks and punches and hit his head as hard as I can with the chair.

He stumbles and I think I have somehow won when he throws a punch my way and I’m not fast enough to dodge. I fall to the ground and my face burns. A loud “Oooh” can be heard from the public and some are cheering on me and telling me to get up. I can see how my friend is losing his smile and he looks a bit worried now, but he’s still cheering on me. I get up and decide that it’s time to try a different tactic. It’s the fastest shapeshifting I could get and I barely dodged his next kick but somehow I managed to do so. With the body of a husky I jump at him with my claws ready.
