Raging sea storming skies

A massive creature, nowhere near as big as the titan I must soon face in the real world, but still an impressive foe indeed. Is this my mind manifesting my fears as something intimidating but far more reasonable?
In the water I can move much faster, much smoother and much more fluidly, and although this thing also appears to be comfortable in the water, at least I can see it, at least it’s a fair fight. I wish I had a weapon, I wish this was one of those dreams where I could just materialize whatever I want. But I can’t and what kind of a warrior would I be if I couldn’t fight bare-handed?
I do not intend to fight this thing if I do not need to. I would rather continue on with this dream and hopefully finish it and get some real rest. I’m almost certain that whatever comes next can be found at the bottom. This… this creature, it is darkness and I’m sure it would feel right at home down in the depths of the well, and that makes two of us.
Down, I cannot see anything, there is only inky blackness, I cannot even tell if it is following me or not, only darkness.
