Sky prompt : Day 1A

Angus Vincere wondered aimlessly around the fungus covered hallways. He wasn't exactly sure where he was, but he'd been sent in that general direction by Ozmore, so he was hopeful he'd stumble upon his destination soon enough. He admittedly hadn't payed any attention what lion had said, his brain instead captured by the alien landscape he had found himself in. He knew he was looking for a 'main study', but he didn't know what that meant.

Eventually Angus stumbled upon a large, purple doorway. The door was covered in small carvings which appeared to depict a story, although most of it had been covered by a glowing pink moss. There were also a few strange symbols nailed onto the door, although he hadn't the fainted idea what any of them meant. Holding his breath, Angus opened the door by a tiny bit, quietly peeking around the corner.

Inside was a large but stuffy room. Every inch of the room appeared to be in use, a considerable amount of the space being covered by a winding blue vine that had the occasional ocean blue mushroom sprouting from it. The ceiling seemed so high it could touch the heavens, with a misty fog obscuring most of it from view. In the center of the room appeared to be some sort of seating area made up of cushions. The room was lit up by strange glowing pink and orange plants, creating a lighting that reminded Angus of a sunset. Angus slowly entered the room, taking it all in.

Upon closer inspection the vines were holding various scrolls and books, and the cushions were actually large mushrooms. Although strange the atmosphere was somehow farmilliar, homely even. The room felt somewhat uncanny; however Angus elected to ignore it as he settled down on a mushroom. It was quiet and comfortable, and he was tired.

The silence didn't last too long. Just as Angus was drifting off, the large door slammed open loudly.

"I see you found the main study then, eh?" Questioned the irritatingly loud and familiar voice.

Angus lifted his head to see Ozmore standing in the doorway. He sighed as he looked back at Ozmore, forcing himself to smile at the lion. Ozmore appeared to take this as an invitation to ramble on. "It's pretty cosy isn't it? Well I always liked coming here, its calm-" Angus started to zone out, distracted by how the lights changed from pink to orange, and back to pink again. It was very pretty. Ozmore didn't seem to notice and kept rambling on.

"And anyway, Natu thought you might feel a little less homesick in here." Ozmore eventually concluded. "I can get my lions to bring your food here if you wish to stay a while" He added.

"Yeah, that'd be nice, thanks". Angus replied. He didn't like how much the lion talked, but he seemed kind enough at least. Although all he really wanted was to be left alone, he wasn't about to say no to free food.
