"Here, take this."

Bezalel nearly fainted when the winged male before him threw down some sort of strange cloth. At least... that's what it looked like. It was black and soft, hardly something that Bez could think would pass as armor. Wasn't armor supposed to be shiny? And metal? That's certainly what those who lived within the ocean's depths used as armor. This just looked like some sort of flimsy material Columbo had lying around.

"How's this supposed to help me? It's just cloth!" Bezalel exclaimed with a whine.

Columbo just chuckled, then shook his head. "Figures you've never seen this before. It's a bullet proof vest. I got it from the storage closet back home. So long as you bring it back to me when you're done with it, I won't lose my job."

"...Bullet? Vest? Job? What is this confoundery?"

"You know, bullets. Like the stuff that comes out of--"

"Columbo, let me handle this." Suddenly a more golden lion came into view... and it seemed he knew more than Columbo would, or at least make it seem that way. The mere tone in the golden male's words had Columbo's own eyes narrowing, only to roll shortly after.

"We've got other armor, but it probably wouldn't hurt for you to try on this vest. It may look flimsy, but not much can get through it."

"Well... alright. But who are you?" Bezalel inquired.

"The name's Manitowoc. Now, no time to waste. Try it on and see if it fits."
