History

Shoal was hatched to Cyan and Torrent, two SeaWings that had greatly drifted in their marriage before they decided to have dragonets. Cyan and Torrent had tried many times but often failed, until after a few years, Cyan finally was eggbound. Unfortunately, Shoal was the only dragonet to survive out of a three egg clutch, his two siblings dying before they had the chance to hatch.

This drove even more of a wedge between the two dragons, but they accepted it. They will work with what they had. Shoal had an alright hatchling-hood, or at least he thinks so. His parents were often busy so he was left with caretakers and tutors throughout the first few years of his life.

Glaze

Glaze is his current boyfriend, whom he has had the longest intimate relationship. He loves Glaze dearly

Axolotl

Axolotl was one of the first dragons Shoal befriended when he went to the famous Jade Mountain Academy. He was immediately drawn to her.

Torrent

If his relationship with his father wasn't already estranged before the reveal of his adultery, it had become even worse due to it. Shoal refuses to keep any contact with him, thinking of Torrent as lower than the scum left behind by snails.

Cyan

Shoal has a strained relationship with his mother, but he has respect for her being able to stay strong while juggling raising a dragonet alongside keeping her career, as well as her dealing with and divorcing Torrent.
