"Have a nice day!"

S smiled back at the cashier and raised a hand. "You do the same."

He turned towards the door, checking to make sure Cambria was following along with him and readjusting the soft-sided cooler he'd found today over his shoulder so that he could hold her hand. She stared up at him for a moment, unmoving.

S reached his hand out, giving her a curious look. "What's the matter? We need to get home so I can get dinner started."

She pointed at the cooler with one hand. "Carry!"

A faint snort escaped him. "You want to carry this? It's almost as big as you!"

Cambria charged at him and grabbed at it with all four arms. "I wanna carrryyyyy!!"

He stumbled for balance for a moment, then chuckled. "Okay, okay, I'll let you carry it on one condition. Don't let it drag on the ground, alright?"

Cambria nodded, her little face scrunched up in determination. S nudged the cooler off of his shoulder, letting his tiny daughter lift it onto her own. Thankfully, it didn't weigh much, and soon she was proudly walking beside him despite her large cargo.

"See, daddy? I gots it!"

S took her hand gently, smiling and leading her out the doors back towards home. "Yep, good job. What would I do without you to carry stuff for me, huh?"
