Domideus is a country of divine, a human race born with magic powers. Morta is a much larger country of humans, who are known to be fighters.
Domideus is a country where divine have come together and decided to stick together for their own safety. Morta culture despises their religious beliefs, finding a distaste in the fact that the people of Domideus view themselves as divine beings. You can catch a resident of Morta referring to them as "imps" rather than divines, though they don't seem to have many problems with dragonborn and elven, who are also born mages.
The divine are a tight-knit group. They've lost much of their land to the waging war with Morta and are struggling with finding a heir to the throne, as the king and queen lost their dear child—or so they reported. As of now, the king's brother will be taking up the throne, but there is concern about how he will run the country. Domideus is on the verge of losing the power over the little land they still have, and are struggling to perseve their culture as they are slowly killed off in battles.
