every societal djubetos has a microchip ID injected under the skin on the back of their neck. this ID can be scanned from a distance, and provides all necessary information about the djubetos, including their identification number, CC, KC, assigned handler, job, and even additional comments made by the government.

these microchips are produced and regulated by the government, so blank ones are hard to come by. however, if someone happened upon an unused one... a whole new identity could be formed.
