TERMS OF SERVICE

• The species is created and owned by kiba_00.
• "Dreadnauts Species" does not own nor copyright the idea of 'sea based' species nor the idea of parasite-based species. Though it is not copyrighted, you are not permitted to create your own Dreadnaut without a MYO slot.
• "Dreadnauts Species" does not claim the term 'sea terror' nor 'D readnaught'—only the lore.
• Slots/Characters that have been sold via money can be listed for resale BUT cannot be listed for higher. Unless the character has listed commissioned art, t hey will stay the same price or lower.
• Do not create Dreadnaut MYO designs with the intent to label it as an “off-brand” version of any other Closed Species.
• Slots/Characters that have been traded can be re-traded. Gifted ones can only be gifted again.
• By creating a MYO, you agree that their masterlist image submission will be displayed publicly on the masterlist account. All image references are managed for record keeping purposes.
• We do not claim ownership of any MYO creation present on the ML, whether it be the design or art. All designers and artists reserve full rights to their respective creations, and all ML entries are only present for tracking.
• Dreadnauts does not condone the act of 'minting' Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), any Dreadnaut design/artwork cannot be minted for any reason. Any trace of MYO/official/GA designs being minted into the blockchain must be reported ASAP. Legal action will be taken if said NFT site does not take down the design.
• Blacklisted users cannot participate in anything related to the species and are not allowed to own a Dreadnaut. If a dreadnaut has been transferred to a blacklisted user, the character will be considered 'illegal' and will be voided from the ML.
• Failure to comply with the Species' T.O.S. will result in limitations of your participation with the species, and repeated offenses will result in a blacklist, this is judged by a case-to-case basis so you may get blacklisted much earlier depending on the severity of your actions. Characters related may be voided.

SHOPS, TRADES & COOLDOWNS

• All Dreadnauts have a cooldown of one week after initial creation, trade, or sale to prevent design foddering.
• All sales are final and non-refundable.
• The masterlist must be updated with every change in ownership (slots or designs). This can be done through the comments of the item traded.
• Dreadnauts made from pre-existing (non-canon) characters aka OCs must be traded with the original form.
• ML updates are final once both parties have confirmed. A trade back requires another comment. Please make sure both parties agree to the trade
• Do not sell your Dreadnaut for more than they are worth (purchase price + commissions). Personal art to add worth must follow your public commission pricing.

REDESIGN GUIDELINES

• When submitting a redesign, you may do so by DM-ing dreadnauts or through the official Discord.
• You must include a link/embed to a clear image and a link to the character's masterlist entry. Any images that exceed 4MB are required to be resized.
• Traited parts of the Dreadnaut can only be 40% edited at most. This includes slight but not drastic color changes, spot placement tweaks, pearl size/shape, etc. (shape only applies if the Dreadnaut initially had non-circular pearls.)
• You are not allowed to change the mimics, upgrade nor downgrade the traits.
• The vessel of the sea terror does not follow the 40% rule and can be freely edited to liking.
• Clothes, non-mimic accessories, artificial prosthetics, etc., can also be freely edited and do not follow the 40% rule.
• The sea terror's overall look must at least resemble the old terror design in some way, but there are no specific guidelines other than the mimics must still be present.
• Traited parts of the Dreadnaut can only be 40% edited at most. This includes slight but not drastic color changes, spot placement tweaks, pearl size/shape, etc. (shape only applies if the Dreadnaut initially had non-circular pearls.)
• The item Zeke’s Supplies can be used to surpass the usual redesign guidelines. Listed below are the possible changes you can do with Zeke’s Supplies:

  CAN DO

  • Drastic color/pattern changes
  • Shift spot placements freely
  • Change pearl shapes (Can downgrade to circular if shaped intially)
  • Land animal silhouette change
  • Downgrade a trait

  CAN'T DO

  • Marine species change
  • Add/Remove spot #
  • Upgrade trait
• Whitewashing is prohibited on redesigns, and will be judged by a case-to-case basis.
• On special cases, you may be given special permission to bypass the redesign rules by staff.

VOIDING A DREADNAUT

• To void a Dreadnaut, DM dreadnauts with the following form/information
• Title: Voiding Dreadnaut - [Your Username]. Body: Include approval from original designer, and ML link and an image of the updated design.
• You can void a dreadnaut by removing their pearls and sea terror form.
• Voided Dreadnauts may not use DN specific lore or traits, and are unusable in official events.
• Voided Dreadnauts will still have their unvoided reference up on the masterlist for reinstating purposes if a new owner wishes to do so. The image may be privated upon request but may not be deleted due to tracking purposes.
• Only a new owner may reinstate a Dreadnaut by sending dreadnauts a direct message with the Masterlist link. Designs voided by blacklisting cannot be reinstated.

REPORTING

• For issues regarding scams, upselling, and other design related inquiries please DM dreadnauts or ask to talk to an admin in the discord server.
• You may also ask to talk to an admin in the discord server if any member is breaking the rules or has had a history of problematic actions.
