Decayed — $40

What’s a MYO?

► A general term that stands for ‘make-your-own’. Usually they come in the form of slots that you can use to create your own character for a specific thing. In this case, your own Dreadnaut. The ‘rarity’ of the MYO is the general baseline of what traits your character limited to, but traits must be kept in mind as well. For the set list of traits, please refer to the Visual Guide and Extended Guide.

How do I submit my MYO?

► You can get your MYO approved/checked through the discord's #myo-approval channel or by sending a private message to the masterlist account (dreadnauts). The DM form can be found here. All submissions are required to have at least a clean flat-colored sketch with the traits clearly visible, and a sketch uncolored sea terror form next to it at least.

How do I acquire MYO Slots?

► MYOs can be acquired in various ways. Main way of acquiring them is through official sales that happen every other month, these sales are usually limited—but sometimes unlimited sales can happen rarely. Another way of acquiring them is through buying from the species shop. You can also acquire slots through trades, gifts, raffles and such.

Trading/Gifting/Reselling - SLOTS

► Slots can be found in the masterlist account (dreadnauts) slot tracker. These slots have no cooldowns when trading/gifting/selling. Each comment has an indication on their eligibilty.

  • Resale is only allowed when the slot has been acquired from an official sale, or previously resold.
  • Trade is allowed for previously-traded slots or if bought with species currency. (Slots that have been acquired by giving something in exchange)
  • Gifting is allowed anytime.
  • Account-bound cannot be transferred for any reason.

Trading/Gifting/Reselling - PREMADES

► If you are looking to transfer your premade to a new user, please refer to your character's respective masterlist entry and use the form provided within the profile. There is a 1-week cooldown before transferring any premades.

  • Resale is allowed if the premade was originally made with a MYO with monetary value, or if bought with real money from an official adopt batch. It is also allowed if it has base monetary value and/or commissioned/personal art with price publicly listed somewhere, messy uncolored sketches do not count to monetary value.
  • Trade is allowed for any premade that was previously not obtained through a raffle. If a slot was previously gift-only/account-bound the premade created becomes tradeable after approval. (Raffles can be traded if they have extra art.)
  • Gift is allowed any time. Upon gifting a design, you agree to void the design of all monetary value.

Is there an Appraisal System?

► Currently the species does not have an appraisal system. Resale is possible without appraisal if there is base monetary value, and/or extra commissioned or personal art. Messy uncolored sketches do not count towards value.

Crossbreeding (CB) with other CS/OS

► As of current, only Decayed slots are able to be used to crossbreed with other Closed/Open/Semi-open Species—Decayed traits attached to common slots are not eligible for CB. Only affiliated species are available to CB with Dreadnauts. When creating a CB, please make sure to abide by the other species’ crossbreeding rules as well and have a CB-compatible slot if crossbreeding with another CS. ‘Illegal’ traits are possible as long as it is available to the other species and within the appropriate rarity. Anomalies are not compatible with CB.

How do you acquire anomaly traits?

► You can only acquire premades with anomaly traits through mod or owner adopts. Whenever an anomaly trait is introduced, it will be listed at the bottom part of the TRAITS: EXPANSION page along with their release month. As of current, we do not plan on releasing slots for the Anomaly Tier.

Can I make my MYO based off of (X)?

► We encourage every MYO design to be original, and thus we strictly prohibit designs based off of canon characters from existing franchises due to copyright reasons. However, you are allowed to make a CS AU of your existing OC. If the design is based off of someone else’s OC, you must have explicit permission from them.

Do I have to follow the lore 100%?

► The lore and cinematic universe of Dreadnauts is entirely optional. We encourage you to have stories within the CS’ universe, but it is ultimately not required, and you can place your OC in any universe/story you like. One thing you must retain is that their origin must come from the deep sea.

Is Co-owning allowed?

► Co-owning of a Dreadnaut is very much allowed, but staff is not responsible for any co-owns that turn sour. Only one ‘main owner’ will be listed on the ML for ease of tracking.

GENERAL PROMPTS GUIDE

Where can I find the latest prompt?

► The masterlist account will have the latest prompt information posted on the bulletin section. It is usually the first or second result that shows up when you go to the account’s bulletins section. The usual rules for prompts remain the same, but **each month will always have a different special rule attached to the monthly prompt.

Is there a submission cap on monthly prompts?

► These ‘max submissions’ or ‘max tokens earned’ will be specifically on each monthly prompt’s ruleset. The usual tokens earned per month is 3-4 maximum.

How do I submit a prompt?

► We have an All-in-one Submission Page that also counts as a shop and bank, you may submit your prompt there with the given form on the bulletin.

I’ve submitted a prompt, what’s next?

► Your submission will be reviewed and you will earn species currency called Fisher Tokens which, if enough, can be exchanged for shop items.

  • Depending on the month, your submission will also be entered for a monthly raffle that will have different prizes every month.
  • Raffle prizes can range from slots, mod/owner customs, trait upgrades, to even things like premades.
  • There are rare occasions when multiple categories of prizes are raffled off at the same month.
  • These 'prompt raffles' are separate from other F2E raffles, and F2E raffles can happen any time in the same month.
