FAQ

1. What are Sugarbats?
Sugarbats are an anthro bat species that are based off of sweets! They share similar color palettes to the sweet they are based off of and even have a charm attached to a bangle with their sweet!

2. Some of the mascots have traits and anatomy not apart of regular bats, can I use those traits?
Yes some of the staff bats do have a couple unique traits and anatomy! Please do not reference them when designing sugarbats! The anatomy and traits for them are part of the lore and will be revealed soon...

3. Why do they have a liquid filled container on their torso? Can I remove that? Can it have anything inside?
The container on their stomach is called a sugarglobe! It has a transparent covering that is resemblant to glass but it's just as strong as bone! This container is used to store sugar for the bat and cannot be removed. It contains a sugary liquid as well as small chuncks of the sweet they're based on! The sugarglobe sits ontop of the skin creating a dome like shape over part of the Sugarbat's torso.

4. If I have a Sugarbat from before the revamp, am I required to redesign my bat? Is there a timelimit or item requirement for redesigns?
No you do not have to redesign your bat to Gen2! There is no time limit or item required for redesigning bats so long as you follow the redesign TOS^^

5. Do Sugarbats have a height limit?
They do! The minimum is 3ft with the max being 6ft. The average height of a sugarbat is about 5ft tall.

6. What's are bangles and charms?
A bangle is like a bracelet with a charm attached to it that sugarbats wear. It can be on the arms, wrist, tail, horns and etc. They can vary in style from a chain to a metal cuff. Or beads! The charm is like a little trinket that looks like the sweet the bat is based on. It acts as a way to show which group bats belong to!

7. Can I base my bat off of multiple sweets?
At the moment this is not possible. Just one sweet per bat!

8. What counts as a sweet?
Candies, pastries, sodas, juice, fruits, basically anything sweet! If you're not sure you're free to shoot one of our staff a question^^

9. How long can wings be?
Without the jumbo chocolate mutation which allows for elongated wings, ears and tail, regular sugarbat wings go to about the bat's ankle to upper foot area for adults. For babies and small children, they can be as short as the waist but generally go to around midthigh/knee. Teen bats have wings that are around the calf to ankle level.

10. Do sugarbats need to have digitigrade legs?
Not really? They can look plantigrade but they do still need paws rather than actual feet. You're free to also stylize the legs to some extent^^
