Quagburn -undead/draconic humanoid/magic being/powerful
These dragons were never born and are incapable of reproducing and were instead individually crafted by God of creation that has long cense deserved them. They stand on two powerful hind legs and have two equally powerful arms. They each have wings, although they are only wings in name and can not actually fly. This is because the skin flaps only extend halfway as far as they should leaving long exposed barbs. These barbs concentrate their already excessively powerful magic they can forcefully eject from their bodies. As a species they were created as master magicians with mighty bodies; each a truly dangerous being. Control over there magic is subpar however. They can only release there magic through physical touch with the exception of their barbs on their wings. With a little time they can shoot projectiles from their barbs, but aiming is a large issue and so is collateral damage. Their half wings can be still used in a control fall like a para-shoot until they reach the ground. After their creator left, self preservation as a species became a dire issue. As a desperate solution they resorted in using the combination of life magic and necromancy to in-defiantly sustain themselves. They first heal themselves as much as possible then use necrotic magic to "resurrect" the unhealable parts of their bodies using their newly healed bodies as collateral, and repeat. This twisting of the nature of magic eventually turned their insides into a magic essence in between life and death. Only their hard bones and scales remain, and in between flows magic filling out the body. The gray colored magic seeps from their eyes and mouths. To sustain their immortality takes approximately 80% of their magic which prevents them from taking on armies, but still leaves them with double the magic of the most powerful of magus. They stand at a towering 7'-9' tall and their scales are colored anywhere from red to yellow. The Quagburn were originally created to safeguard the known world from invasive beasts coming from the wildlands, but with their current state of power they have been remarkably less effective. The majority remain and hold up their sacred charge even in undeath, but a few have wandered from their posts feeling no obligation to a task given to them by the god that abandoned them.
