One of the biggest scientific research organizations in Lattice, founded by Rokara Yung. Martyr is dedicated to researching the false god of the material world called the Demiurge, its underlings the archons, and the true perfection known as the Pleroma, which hosts immaterial beings called aeons and its true god, the Monad. Their goal is to uncover the secrets of these beings and use that information to ascend humanity, effectively evolving them as higher beings.

Such an organization has extremely high standards and specifications that are required to join, though it's known they're welcoming to people from all corners of the world as they have several regional branches. However, the organization itself is something of a controversial hot topic and has widespread criticism due to the secrecy of their research and methods, along with a long list of allegations of their involvment with many missing people. Some people regard Martyr as a religious cult due to its name and the radical theories by its founder.

It gets its name because of its "miraculous" methods and willingness to die for the sake of progress among those who denounce and hate them.
