Mandatory Conikyrn Traits (Written)

• Exactly four eyes

• Rabbit/llama-like ears

• Symbol on stomach that contains an "X" or crossed lines somewhere

• A static base colour for their fur, and a second, different base colour for their skin - these can never change.

•   At least 1 additional colour on the fur and 1 additional colour on the   skin - the maximum is 8 colours on the fur & skin combined. (These  extra colours can change over time).•  A coastal or inland conikyrn MUST retain at least 2 traits belonging to  its subspecies - most common is pupil shape (1) & sclera brightness  (2)• A nose with the same colour  palette as their skin - they don't have separate noses with different  textures like animals on earth do
Fur Coverage Guidelines (Written)

•    The head must be covered in fur, the   face must be hairless with a  4-leaf clover shape around the eye   section and cheeks (think Mickey  Mouse). The ears can be with or   without hair.

•  For each limb (arm, arm, leg & leg), at   least half of it must be  covered in fur -  which half does not matter.   The only part that cannot  be covered in  fur are the hands and feet.

•   There can be no fur around a conikyrn's stomach symbol! If it is a   bigger than average  symbol, this furless section must accommodate that  -  no part of the symbol can be  obscured by fur.

• The pelvis and back of the neck must have fur, otherwise fur on the torso is optional.

• Coastal conikyrns' short tails must be covered in fur, Inland conikyrns' tails must be at least 50% covered in fur.

Conikyrn Subspecies

There are two conikyrn subspecies: Coastal Conikyrns and Inland Conikyrns.

As  the names imply, the Coastal subspecies live along the coast of  Solustus, while the Inland subspecies are centralized around the hot,  volcanic areas towards the center of the island.  Their proximity to  natural elements of the island affect how their patterns change and  grow, and there are some traits that are mandatory for each.

Mandatory Coastal Traits:

Light Sclera

Round Pupils

Curly Fur

Mandatory Inland Traits:

Slit Pupils

Visible claws and fangs poking out from mouth

Long Tail

There are also tons of common elements found among each subspecies; read the chart ahead to learn more about how the world around them shapes a conikyrn from each subspecies!

Humanoid & Feral Designs

human-coni-guide.png?ex=655efd7c&is=654c

While Conikyrns are an anthro species, we value artistic freedom, and you are free to draw your conikyrn as a feral or humanoid if you prefer!  Humanized conikyrns are allowed to be stylized with a regular human  skintone on their face, but the rest of the body should retain its  original pattern.

Trait Rarity Tiers

Conis-Rarity.pngCommon: The standard coastal or inland conikyrn, with the appropriate subspecies traits

Uncommon: Traits  associated with the other subspecies are classified as  uncommon, and  require an uncommon trait ticket (single trait) or an  uncommon MYO (as  many uncommon traits as you like). Complex, coloured  or large stomach  patterns are also uncommon.

Rare: More  extreme body  mods are found in this tier! Stomach symbols can now be  3d objects, and  placed in other spots on the body! Fused or eyes,  segmented doll joints,  plush skin and 3d skin & fur patterns all  fall under this category.

Legendary: The most extreme body variations a conikyrn can have! Synthetic hair, liquid   hair, asymmetrical eyes, skin & fur colours, as well as stomach   symbols that can be glass, transparent, digital, etc.

Traits & MYOS

MYOS, like traits, can be common, uncommon, rare or legendary. If you purchase a trait trinket, it will allow you to add a trait of that rarity to a new conikyrn or a pre-existing one. Traits that can be purchased via trait trinket include:

3 Kinds of Heterochromia

If you buy an MYO potion, you can make a conikyrn with as many traits in that rarity tier that you'd like!

Because Conikyrns are a semi-open species, common MYO potions are always FREE!
