Information on Chubaos

Chubaos are a chinchilla-based closed species, they are distantly related to chinchillas, but they have stardust and/or magic clouds at their back legs, which assist them in jumping higher. Every Chubao has stardust on their back legs, they don't come in any specific pattern, shape, size or colour! Other than helping them jump higher, it can also be used as a form of identity, helping them to recognise each other as every Chubao's stardust is unique. The more stardust there is on the back leg, the more powerful the back legs, enabling the Chubao to jump higher.

Chubaos guide small lost spirits in the night, using their horns, antennas or insides of their ears, which contain bioluminescence to help attract spirits. They often carry small bags or pouches around filled with small blue fruits and spirit-catching equipments to prevent the spirits from disappearing into the dark realm, and also sometimes fighting and purifying equipment to fight corrupted spirits and attempt to purify them. Younger and inexperienced Chubaos often go spirit hunting in groups, whilst older and more experienced Chubaos find it easier to guide spirits by themselves, usually travelling by themselves.

Chubaos live in a mystical realm away from other creatures, called Remenite. In there, it's a large, magical forest and three moons shine in the night. Chubaos have developed culture, which leads to them worshipping the moon, as it gives them energy as they are linked to the moon. Every Chubao hatches or develops from a Bioluminescent Crystal; to obtain one, two Chubaos must combine a fraction of their bioluminescence in their horns or antennas under the full power of the moonlight from one of the three moons. The more moonlight they are developed under, the more stardust they will have. Sometimes, Chubaos gain powers from the moons, such as clairvoyance to track down spirits, ability to grow plants or manipulate fire. When a Chubao is developed under the full moons and starlight, the Chubao will become a Startouched Chubao. A startouched Chubao possesses a Celesetial Form, which they can transform into. Usually, Startouched Chubaos have special powers, which can be used to help their groups.
