Being a half human half panda hybrid, Pandaz was once on the run from her past, eventually settling down to start her new life of isolation. Though, despite the circumstances, became one of the very first people to live in the soon to be named town, Sunspire.

She is known as the farmer of town, hosting one of the largest wheat fields in the area. Not wanting to create bonds or attachments at first, Pandaz slowly warmed up to the people around her and eventually started to welcome people in with open arms and happily agreed with the start of their new town! Having a warm, motherly spirit, Pandaz does hold past traumatic events that affect her occasionally, though doesn’t like to speak much on them.

Having run away from a dangerous fate, Pandaz had been put through multiple challenges growing up. Eventually learning survival instincts at a young age, she had to become her own parent through it. Learning to hide and sneak, having to learn of the danger and choosing to self isolate herself were only a few on the list she had to learn on her own. When years had passed without any issues, she took it upon herself to finally move on and try to start a life without worrying so much.

Paradox is the happy-go-lucky mailman of Sunspire, who is not hiding a bloodsoaked and tyrannical past at all. He has a fondness for weird and monstrous creatures, esoteric magickal lore, and helping out around the town whenever he’s needed.

He is very hyper, irreverent, sarcastic, and laid back. He often hides the full extent of his deadly vampiric powers from others because he sees no reason to rise to his full might, but if pushed into a dire situation, he will let the tyrant out to play once more.

Born as Arepo in a quiet peasant town, he lived a quaint human life until he was stolen from his parents’ arms and taken into a Natural Born Vampire Nest. he was Turned into a vampire and used as a house servant until he eventually took revenge upon his captors and fled into the wider world. After, he tried everything from blacksmithing to creature taming to cooking, but nothing seemed to satiate his neverending dissatisfaction with the immortal life he was now living. So, he eventually turned to conquering, and the rest was history.

His faction, initially called the Sunset Expanse, rapidly grew and consolidated enough power to be called the Infinite Empire, a kingdom that covered the entire Continent’s distant horizon line. He was known as the Despot King, a tyrant so feared that his name was uttered to inspire terror in little children when they misbehaved. But, inevitably, he grew bored of even this grand occupation. One day he simply disappeared from his throne and the entire empire was upended without its powerful figurehead to maintain order. He ran off to find his true calling, and then he discovered the simple joy of delivering mail for little to no cost.)

Vincent Mangrove, otherwise known as Vince, is the innkeep of Sunspire and the self-proclaimed best monster hunter in the land. He specialises in the slaying of vampires, despite being one himself.

Vince was born human, (approximately) 240-something years ago. He was stolen from his home as a child by the vampire clan Castus a Margo, and turned. All that remains of that time is vague memories of isolation and torture. As a fledgling still under his Sire's control, his body and mind weren't his own, and yet a feeling of hatred festered in his being throughout his whole childhood. This came to a head years later when, in the wake of the Infinite Empire's collapse, the clan fell apart, was raided, and many of the vampires there were killed, while Vince himself escaped. The clan was burned to the ground.

Around 11 years ago, Vince took on a job to exterminate a vampire nest. He enlisted the help of a local inkeep Rhyan Syron, a werewolf, who later convinced Vince to stick around in the city for longer than he planned. An extra week turned into a year, the two becoming closer by the day. Vince and Rhyan married 3 years after they first met. After this, Vince began working for the Continental Defence League, and he finally felt able to settle down. Vince declared himself retired from vampire hunting, choosing to truly settle down with Rhyan. He lived peacefully for a short while, until his friends Jack and Miller proposed they take a "pilgrimage" to the capital of the fallen empire, Promethium.

A golem crafted from primordial clay by Rams and given life. They’re slowly learning how to be a person and grow up, exploring the world and discovering themself as she tries its best to help those around her and make them proud. She has a soft heart but it has a small mean streak when they want to get its way.

Crafted from primordial clay and given life by Rams, she is as odd as her creation. They live in different areas, the offices and Town Town being its favourites but she is known to be happy wandering and moving around different houses. Enthusiastic about cooking, loving to play with their friends, and an adept fighter, she is as malleable as the material it was made from. Her morals and personality are always in flux, still finding her true self and dreams.

Mr. Dead is a half zombie who hides the pain of his past with drinking and jokes. He makes a living by selling fake artefacts and hates doing physical labour. Although he is relatively selfish he has started to like the people of sunspire and begun helping more.

Brought back to life in a botched resurrection by a necromancer, Mr. Dead spent the first three years of his life being tested on by said necromancer. After escaping, Mr. Dead travelled through the forest hopping from town to town. Each place he attempted to stay at ended up running him off for being half zombie. Soon enough, he had the idea to make a colourful persona for himself as Mr. Dead, the travelling merchant of wonders. Once he had a stolen suit and some half baked tales to spin about the fantastical items he sold, he was able to make more of a living off of the villages he found.

Eventually ending up in Sunspire, Mr. Dead decided to stay for a while in the weird town, setting up his tent and getting to know the locals. Recently his tent was destroyed in a freak ice spike incident, along with most of his worldly possessions. Deciding he didn’t want to try making a new home Mr.Dead bought a ship with some of the money he made selling artefacts to the people of Sunspire and considered what to do next.

Rams is a citizen of Sunspire, a lovely town of which they seem to almost naturally bring chaos to. While not malevolent outright, Rams has made sure to let some citizens of Sunspire know they aren't going anywhere. From setting down a large office building, modern farms, to even an entire casino, Rams owns a decent amount of land in Sunspire. Seemingly charitable, handing out gifts some of which usually are very luxurious in nature it's almost confusing as to how Rams gives away so many things, and for free...

Rams is more than secretive when it comes to their entire history. It's likely not even those who have known Rams in the past or are even considered 'friends' with them now will even get the entire full story of their life. They have an image to uphold and either don't want to let sensetive information out- or just want to make themselves look good. However Sunspire seems to keep chipping away at finding out Rams' history. Price to pay for settling down in a town.

Styx would much prefer it if you didn’t ask him for any info about himself. It’s not like he knows much either. Styx is prone to worrying about things much quicker than others, which is why he usually prefers to stay in the background. He struggles a lot with memory issues which he often tends to play down in order to not worry anyone. And though he likes to pretend not to care all too much about whoever he might have been in the past, he’d be lying if he said it didn’t keep him up at night. Knowing he could’ve been anyone isn’t exactly the most comfortable concept to live by. …Especially if there are wanted posters of your face hanging around.

Being washed up on the beach of Sunspire, Styx has no memory of who they were before they came to town. The only hint to his identity being that his name is most likely Styx, which he concluded from the few notes he had with him when he first woke up. There’s not much else he could make out from them.

Amatsu is a kitsune that has lived in the Old Sunspire area for around 200 years. At first she was skittish and distrustful, but, after befriending many of the citizens of Sunspire, she grew more relaxed and friendly. Despite what she may have done in the past, she now lets herself live happily with those around her. However, she was recently kidnapped by a group of hunters, losing her ear and causing her necklace to crack. She doesn't speak of what happened, but she does know that her hair, eyes, and necklace have been stuck as the same bright pink ever since...

Before her powers were sealed away, she was known as The Divine Flower Kitsune: A malevolent spirit that tormented the people of a now abandoned village, hungry for power. The Despot King heard the townspeople's cries for help, and he and the Kitsune had a fierce battle. Nearby houses were burnt to the ground, fireworks lit up the sky, and the Despot King put an end to the Flower Kitsune's tyranny, sealing her evil spirit away inside of a moon-shaped gemstone.

Several years later, Amatsu arrived to the Old Sunspire area, settling down on a little island. She met a forest spirit named Camelia, and the two fell in love. Sadly, Camelia was shot by a pair of hunters searching for supernatural blood. Angered from her loss, Amatsu swore to kill every hunter she meets on sight. Sadly, she hasn't realised how advanced their technology has grown in recent years...
