Many, many moons after defeating the Dark Forest cats — the four warrior Clans (WindClan, SkyClan, ShadowClan, and LightClan) find themselves facing new trials. Insurrection threatens LightClan, disease rips through the forest, and WindClan fights to uphold the integrity of the word of StarClan. To no surprise, the WindClan medics are quick to latch onto an omen — an impossible number of stars, expanding, bleeding, entangling. They set their sights on a martyr; the cat heralded by the spiderweb sky.
