Starting Guide
Rules
- Floralias is a closed species created by SleepyIncubus, for a character to be considered apart of the community it must be approved and on the masterlist. Do not harass people with characters with similar traits.
- All artwork and writing used in events must be created solely by you the player. The use of bases is allowed for these events as long as the base is credited.
- As the Floralias ARPG is completely free to play characters made in it should not be sold for RL money unless it has additional artwork or was an adopt purchased from staff.
- It is not allowed to exchange Petals (server currency) or MYO slots or other in game items for RL money. If you are found selling these for RL money you will be banned and blacklisted.
- Some aspects of the community such as Achievements and the FloraPets will operate on a trust system as I will be hosting the images within the server. Do not share the Florapets bases with those who do not have access to them. As for the achievements/badges, please only display the ones you have.
- You must be at least 16 in order to participate in the ARPG.
How to Play
After joining the Discord server there are many ways to participate in the ARPG.
Earn Currency
You can earn in game currency known as Petals through various methods throughout the server. Here’s some of the ways you can earn Petals:
- Daily work command - Help NPCs daily to earn some petals.
- Talk in #general - You can earn a little bit of petals through being an active chatter in the general channel.
- Flower Tending - Drew art or wrote a short story about your Floralias that wasn’t related to an event? You can get it appraised for petals in the flower tending channel.
- Events - The ARPG has 3 different kinds of events: Seasonal, Monthly and Flash events. Each event will give petals and other goodies as a reward!
- Question of the Day - Answer the Question of the Day for a small reward of Petals.
Take part in Events
Seasonal Events are large events that change every 3 months and are typically involved directly with the world. Monthly Events are medium scale events that change monthly. Some of these events will be based around the holidays in Plantae. Flash Events are smaller scale events that will pop up sometimes and will last for around 2 weeks.
Roleplay
Do you like roleplaying? Well lucky for you we have a spot for that in the server! We have both an open roleplay and a place to look for rp partners! For the open RP we use Tupperbot to manage characters.
Earn Achievements
Earn Achievements through events or meeting certain requirements to collect badges to display on your character profiles.
Obtain Pets
Florapets are a collectable pet species that you can obtain for your Floralias! These pets come with bases that you can color and accessories. Once you’ve purchased a Florapet Tag you’ll be given the base of your choice for you to customize. More pets will be released over time or be obtainable during events. As of January 8th FloraPet Seeds are available for purchase for custom FloraPets.
