The Birdcage is based on a closed dA rp group created by Nattie and Sarachu in 2011.

The premise of the rp group revolved around a game played by mafia self-insert characters. Players were allowed to create lackeys of existing and new OCs to assist in their games.

Each codenamed Bird and their lackey belongs to their respective creator (credited if still active).
