Overview: Mizards are reptilian creatures with short fur, spikes on their cheeks and long ears. They are excellent magic users, if they're well-trained, and their appearance will change depending on the location where their egg was laid. Since the egg shell is what gives them their magic powers, that same location will also determine the kind of magic they will inherit when they hatch.

Mizards are very observant and clever, making them exceptionally skilled at anything that requires a lot of thinking, remembering, or finding clues. They love to study and to create things, and in general make very good inventors, detectives, scientists/doctors and the like. In fact, there are a few cases where children from this species have been able to solve a crime, or pass a test that teenagers and even adults generally have trouble with. However, most Mizards don't have much physical strength and are pretty frail. Their immune system is also quite weak, so they can get sick easily and sometimes have many allergies. It's very common to see a Mizard from a certain subspecies in a spot they aren't related to, because they tend to switch locations often, but ultimately they originate from the mountains. Most Mizards today have lost the horns they once had, since their lives in other locations don't require them to have horns anymore. They defend themselves with magic instead, but tend to avoid fighting at all costs and will often flee from their enemies.
