Sorry for the radio silence ! Now that things are clearing up schedule wise here's a small event to get things rolling!
It’s dark tonight and the only place open right now that would even agree on giving you a body loan is the capital bank run by some sleazy coyote. And with a shrug, you have made your split-second decision and opened the door to the poorly lit lobby, only the sound of ticking clocks, buzzing electricity, and buttons quietly being clicked together could be heard.

APRIL 2023 EVENT ; OPENING DAY
Welcome to the April event for Ghoulhoods! This event will be a week long from now along with other smaller events going on alongside the main plotline for the week, every day has a new special award + small prompt ran by either an admin or mod for the day !
The opening prompt is mainly simple with a small gift giving event now that it’s spring!
To enter the event please go down in the comments of this post and fill out this form:

This will be a gift art event where you claim the comment below you on the forum, and at the end of the week Buck will take the last person on the page and make a gift for them since he’s starting the chain!
You will have until the end of the month to get your art finished for a prize, but anything later without an agreed upon extension between the person who the gift is for, you, and a moderator, will be disqualified and you will only get a buttons prize for entering the event.
EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES WILL GET 4 BUTTONS FOR ENTERING AND A MYTHICAL MYO BY THE END OF THE MONTH

If you have a ghoul from a really old event, such as the first MYO event, and are unsure of where to submit your character... look no further!
I'm submitting ghouls today if there are any! Please take a look at https://ghoulhoods.com/masterlist and see if your ghoul is missing. If it is, follow these steps:
- Create a Lorekeeper account following the instructions in this bulletin.
- Come back here and submit a form to me in the comments.

Ghoulhood image This image must be a singular (1) fullbody with a transparent background!

Traits To list traits, please list them neatly and in order (shown example below)

If you find you have a trait that wasn't included with your submission traits, but the staff included it anyway, that's fine! Don't sweat it.
We now have a Lorekeeper site! It's still a massive work in progress, but now we have a proper masterlist for the ghouls!
To get your ghouls connected to your LK account, you need to register an account and verify Toyhou.se!
I would recommend using regular registration for now! Users have reported having issues using alternate registration, so to be cautious, just use regular registration.
Go to settings, then aliases!
You're going to use the "Link new account"
If your ghouls are linked to your Toyhou.se username, they should show up on your profile! If you are having technical issues, please use the comments below to tell us. Thank you!!

Guest artist applications are open!
To apply, go here and fill out the form. All previous recorded responses are now deleted!
If you are a current guest artist and want to re-apply for your term, you are allowed!
To be a guest artist, you must:
- Be active in the Discord/Lorekeeper
- Have a Lorekeeper/Toyhou.se account we can credit you on
- Participate in one official batch
- Have at least 5 designed characters for us to review
- Turn in at LEAST 3 adopts during your term
(I'll be opening moderator applications, too. Give me a few days, I might wait for the hard launch to do that.)

- Transferring information from the Carrd to the Lorekeeper site
- Adding many more prompts! Direct message me if you have a prompt idea.
- Editing the Toyhou.se group code to completion

I hope you're all ready for a contest!
As we develop the lorekeeper site (currently in closed beta) further, we'll be introducing pets for your ghouls to own and interact with! Pets will be purely cosmetic, but if you obtain one you'll be allowed to submit special prompts related to them for more buttons!
Contest Details
Participants will create new pet ideas for the Ghoulhoods universe! If your design is chosen as a pet we'd like to make official, they will be redrawn in one of our species artists' styles to fit the rest of the site's aesthetic! The winners will be credited with the pet concept in the pet's description.
Rules
- Designs must include a gimmick of some type relating to the universe (a mouse made of yarn, a button come to life, etc.) - you may not submit something like a dog with unusual colors, it has to be something more creative than that!
- Your design must be original! Please do not copy our existing pet designs or any other media. Our current pets can be found here: https://ghoulhoods.com/world/pets !
- Once you've finished, submit your design in the comments below! This contest has also been posted on the species Discord, so please be mindful of not entering twice!
Rewards
Winners have a choice between two big rewards! They may claim either a rare MYO or two exclusive traits to add on to any of their ghouls. Additionally, they'll be allowed to pick any 1 pet they'd like to have once the site is open to everyone (including the pets created from this contest)! The amount of winners may increase based on how many designs are submitted.
