A long, long time ago, the inhabitants of the vast realm of Trivonia lived in harmony. But then, one ill-fated day, war broke out between Groudon and Kyogre's forces. The land and the Pokèmon who lived there suffered great damage as the two Legendaries fought each other, day in and day out. Finally, the suffering Pokèmon's pleas reached the ears of none other than Arceus. The creator then fashioned a peacekeeper, someone more powerful than both Kyogre and Groudon combined: Rayquaza. The serpent succeeded in quelling the two's anger, and put them into a deep sleep. With their job done, Rayquaza departed into space. And so, peace came to Trivonia once more. But recently, many many centuries later, strange things have started to happen. Volcanos on the east part of the continent are beginning to erupt, and floods have become more and more frequent on the west side. Even more disturbingly, two rival organizations, led by Latias and Latios, have emerged, preaching and prophesying the return of Groudon and Kyogre. The only hope to stop them is to retrieve the Oceanic Sapphire, the Seismic Ruby, and the Heavenly Emerald and place them on the shrine on highest mountain in the region to call down Rayquaza and stop the fighting once more.
