As they are in our world, humans in the Blades world are relatively normal (at least physically). There's not really much of note about them, aside from their tensions with the other species of the world, collectively referred to as monsters. Human-monster tensions have never been ideal within the Blades universe, and though it's lessened in recent years, some humans still openly hold anti-monster sentiments. It's a precarious balance to hold, and one that could easily be tipped either way with enough attention.

Naga, or snakefolk, are hybrid monsters, sharing traits of humans and snakes. They often sport slitted pupils, forked tongues, fangs, scales, claws, and occasionally tails (which can be in addition to or in place of legs), with more prominent traits appearing the stronger the snake presence in the genes is. They are known for their cunning and deceptive natures- though most of this is human rumour. Humans have long been distrusting of naga, claiming hypnotic abilities and venomous fangs, though none of this has ever been proven.

Fairfolk are a varied bunch of creatures, often grouped together due to their similarities. Most fairfolk have sharp teeth, an aversion to iron, and whimsical or strange ways of talking, but they vary massively in their own ways, from the clairvoyance and emotional senses of banshees to the shapeshifting glamours and tricksy rules of sprites. Humans often claim them to be mischievous and malicious, with strange rules, stolen names, and habits of replacing human chldren, but rarely do these apply to all fairfolk.
