Scarla

A northern region of the Pokémon world that is chilly at best and tundra at worst, Scarla is home to a wide variety of Pokémon, both familiar and not. Being an island region, Scarla was isolated from much of the rest of the world in its past--which as not only led its Pokémon to evolve in a variety of unique and interesting ways, but also to the development of a taxonomy that is quite different from the standard.

Scarlan Pokémon are classified into 9 different types: Fire, Water, Wood, Metal, Earth, Sun, Moon, Ether, and Null. 

• Fire type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Fire or Poison type
• Wood type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Grass or Bug type
• Earth type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Ground or Rock type
• Metal type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Steel or Electric type
• Water type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Water or Ice type
• Ether type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Fairy or Psychic type
• Moon type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Dark or Ghost type
• Sun type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Fighting or Dragon type
• Null type encompasses most Pokémon that would normally be classified as Normal or Flying type
