Steam Pafu

Steam Pafus are small kemonomimi beings
(about the size of a newborn human baby, weighing about 5 pounds)
born with the purpose of keeping their human owners warm!

"Steam" also relates to one of their functions: the hot beverages
(may add some foods e.g. soup to the list in the future)
produce steam around the ears of the steam pafu
(not like clouds though, transparent and thin and commonly pastel in colour).
