World setting based vaguely off the series Cyborg 009, taking place long after Conclusion: Gods War. And by vaguely I mean if you're drunk and standing on your head.

The 00 Cyborgs were successful in defeating the priestess and her hoards of monsters, but not without a price. Humanity had been wiped out, save a few dark remnants. In order to restore humanity, the cyborgs cloned themselves and raised their clones as their children, hoping to build something of a gene pool. Unfortunately their children merely made more clones and, to their parents horror, cybernized themselves. Over time, these cyborg clone descendants forgot their parent's hopes and formed factions, separating into their own lands and city-states. Relations between these factions began to sour, and war eventually broke out.

The Schism War decimated the nearby lands and thousands of cyborgs died. No one won the war, they simply all stopped and retreated back to their own cities. The factions keep to themselves, save the occasional siege committed by the Fours and their Two attack dogs. Or do they?
