Lore and Gods

Aniju - Known as The Aurora; creator of this world. Said to have worked with The Borealis to form Rem. The Aurora holds up the world in the sky, can been seen at night. 

Dante -  Known as The Borealis, said to have formed the world with The Aurora. Made the inside of the planet and the other realms that exist among Rem. Lives in the depths of the world and seas. In reality Dante lives among the mortals within a castle tower likes structure that Ju needs a to name. 

Hush - Known as the Keeper. Collects souls and keeps them in the Afterlife until they are ready to be reborn. Represented by a blue butterfly, his season is Spring and he brings the rain by flapping his wings. Hush's life cycle is ever ten years, causes a drought on the tenth year before he "dies" and cocoons himself in his scarf. No children can be born during this time. Comes back to life some time later. During this time the monsoons come to break the drought. 

Collins - Known as the Guardian. Protects the living from the spirit world. Actively involved with his followers. He is represented by a phoenix that takes the form of a bearded vulture. His season is Summer. 

Kaveh - Known as The Watcher; He is represented by a Golden Fu Dog. His season is Fall. Considered the father of all the inhabitants of Rem. He keeps watch over his children with his 

Sachin - Known as the Dream Watcher; He is represented by a White Stage. His season is Winter. Maintains the balance between the Spiritual World called Nem and Rem or World of the Living. Helps guide those on their past through life.  

Dasher - The Corrupt King; brings corruption and sickness. Although not evil, he is considered malevolent. Said to eat souls, but this is not the case. He was task with testing the mortals and maintaining live and death and the power struggle between the realms. The only god that links the mortal realm to the mythical. Has a cult following though he does not govern them. Capable of infecting mortals and spirits alike.  

Inhabitants 

Tydos - The breed of Klimatjie that Tibbit is. Tydos don't live on Althra but migrated to Rem. Technically a mix of all the breeds in some way. They have adapted to Rem's environments.  They grows long curly/fluffy hair of any color. Naturally nocturnal, with poor eye-sight in the day however they have excellent eye-sight at night. Very docile compared to other klimatjie breeds. Not very talkative, they tend to communicate with noises and body gestures. Like all klimatjies they sport three fangs and enjoy physical contact. 

Weepers - Weepers are people who have been bless or cures by the Keeper and serve him in hunting and devouring the Nillar. A bleed liquid bleed from their eyes, noes and mouth giving them the name weepers. Any race can become a weeper. Weepers are made when a person makes a bargain with the Keeper for their life and return to the world of the living, having a near death experience, to serve him. 

Reavers - Similar to Weepers but instead aid the Dream Watcher. Their bodies become pale as a purple liquid creeps up their back and down their limps. Their eyes are usually a purple or violet. Reavers occur from some kind of infection. 

Nyverns - a type of Sphinx, accident long-lived creatures mostly stay out of the lives of the common folk. Sometimes disguise themselves as common folk. 

Rhykers - A type of human, magically gifted and slightly stronger and more durable that the average human. Rhykers have decent night vision and a higher sense of smell that help them in their forestry home. They have a slight resistance to poisons. 

Khavar - Beast folk come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Most of them all into an animal order or Beast, Saurian, Avian or Aquatic. Wide range of different cultures. 

High Elves - Typical elves, come in a wide range of skin-tones and hair colors and textures 

Thalmur - Tallest race, besides some Saurian Khavar, magically gifted and long-lived. 

Sylphans - Small moth folk, live in the walls and keep to themselves. 

Thralls - False humans, artificially created using dark magic by infusing a soul fragment into a body, normally a clone with various alterations suited for a specific task.

Allura Forest - Place where Flix is from, bright and colorful, skyscraper height tress , populated by dangerous creatures including some prehistoric rex and raptors.   

History

Rem was created by the Aurora"Aniju" and Borealis"Dante". World was new and small, began to grow and Harmony was established with the enlisting of new Gods. The Watcher began to look after and guide his pups while The Guardian protected them. The Keeper and Dreamwalker began their task of overseeing  the spiritual realms. 

Dragon War - dragons became divided after the death of their matriarch. The mortals continued to fight among themselves. Alliances were made all the while a prophecy of a dragonic mortal would come to bring balance and peace to the people.  

Dragonborne prophecy - Towards the end of the Dragon war, the dragonborne appeared, despite all their searching he came to the Temple all on his own. This was Dante, technically sent by his mate to bring peace. He established dominance over dragon kind, all the while being mortal and yet mythical he represented all creatures on Rem, allowing him to connect to the people.  Soon became king when the wars ended
