"So you managed to find my shop, huh? Bet you're just itching to see what I've been doing with all the research my pals and I swiped from ol' Callosum's lab? We've been getting reallllll tired of the same old song and dance, tired of being the Warehouse's little marketable plushies unable to get so much as a scratch without being fussed over like a broken vase. You want real science? Help me with my research and I'll show you something real experimental..."

For the low low price of Suspicious Blueprints, you can bend the species rules to turn your WARE.OS into a TAMPER.UX, a closed subspecies homebrewed by the dastardly Dr. Marrow himself! Tampered Wares don't abide by quite the same rules as their Callosum-approved counterparts, and often have wild additions to their technology!

To purchase something from the shop, fill out the following form when making an approval submission!
PLEASE NOTE!! Traits/mods cannot be purchased in advance, and must be bought when the approval is submitted!

TRAIT MENU

DEVIOUS TRAITS
"Well, that warranty's not expiring any faster!"

72474899_rCbnLFlCyWZQIC3.png

Small alterations to the WARE.OS tech which are hardly enough to cause any interference alone, but can come together to completely defy what it means to be a “proper” WARE.OS. A maximum of 3 Devious Traits can be added to a WARE.OS without causing damage to its processors.

Each Devious Trait costs 20 Suspicious Blueprints each!
Some traits are unable to be purchased standalone and are exclusive to Defiant Mod bundles

79137619_4rr9jiRDx93Ga5i.pngAnimated - The foodstuff becomes a living creature of its own, possessing limbs/eyes/teeth.
If applied to Symbiotic Variant Wares, a clear distinction between the "intended" animal and the mutations must be made!

79137472_jIYLjsR1R92BkbQ.pngBrainstorm - The collar begins overheating, causing it to emit smoke/steam/sparks depending on what it is made out of.
Large enough clouds may even start to rain/snow or emit lightning!!
The smoke/steam/sparks cannot be depicted as creating fire unless you also have the Thermostat Trait!
Small sparks coming from the Foodstuff/from exposed wiring on damaged casings are free/untraited!

79137450_qozd7COtH5rODfL.pngExposed Matter - Oh no!! Something has gone horribly wrong! The foodstuff/collar has a whole chunk taken out of it, revealing the true form of the brain matter within!!
This trait only affects the foodstuff/collar; damaged casing on the body/limbs is free/untraited!
Fake "bites" taken out of foodstuffs that do not show brain matter are free/untraited!

79137581_HBp5h7b14TrX6rS.pngMismatched - The WARE.OS’ paw pads do not match the foodstuff at all!!
At least one paw pad must be intact for this trait to be applied.

79137597_3VVfb43x1qmEBZL.pngThermostat - The internal heating/cooling system has gone haywire, leading to the WARE.OS to spontaneously combust on the more flammable parts of their casing.
It’s a good thing Wares are heat resistant!! Flame patterns are free/untraited!

79137532_gLZpWD3Rav0K0eT.pngLandline - The foodstuff is only connected by a single long, thin wire/cord instead of a proper tail. It’s hanging by a thread!!
You may optionally depict this wire as being frayed/unraveled, as well as whether it is prehensile or drags on the ground.
Short "wire" tails are free/untraited, as long as they do not exceed half the body length!
Cannot be applied to Neural Variant Wares!!

79137512_lPwvAXvk05HqazO.pngErrors - The eyes of the WARE.OS are completely filled with error screens/glitches as a result of the unauthorized changes to their coding. We’re sure it’s fine… right?
Clusters of errors/glitches may RESEMBLE pupils, but cannot be actual pupils!

79137426_VstpWfWuDc1Fvkb.pngParty Tray - The WARE.OS has 3 or more distinct components to their Foodstuff, making them look like a walking charcuterie board! The paw pads must match one of the foodstuff components. Non-Foodstuff accessories on the head/body are free/untraited!

79137555_K7mCTh9fPEF1ECx.pngHolo RAM - The foodstuff is gone and has been replaced by a transparent hologram echo of itself. It can’t quite replicate the real thing…
The hologram can be turned off at will, and can change appearance (as long as it still matches the paw pads).
Exclusive to Misplaced Mod! You cannot buy this trait standalone!

79137397_kZQPZ33tMIiGAL0.pngSugarcrashed - The foodstuff is themed after a heavily processed non-meat food, such as a dessert.
Exclusive to Sugarrush Mod! You cannot buy this trait standalone!

79137489_Z13Y9QFotaooQGK.pngRedundant Code - Something went strange during the manufacturing of this WARE.OS. It possesses an extremely stretched/segmented body/limbs!!
Exclusive to Repetitive Mod! You cannot buy this trait standalone!

79137351_UEyC4LPbD4leWbi.pngSystem Restore - Good as new! Removes one Devious Trait from the WARE.OS, freeing up a trait slot.
This is permanent! If you want the removed trait back, you must purchase again!
Please note, you are allowed to depict your Ware with or without its Devious Traits whenever you want without using a System Restore!

DEFIANT MODIFICATIONS
"I don't really count as a WARE.OS anymore, and with this tech, neither will you!"

79136507_IDX0XNRgecZKeDn.png

Countless blueprint scraps have been cobbled together to create instructions for something brand new and experimental...
Defiant Modifications act as “MYO Slots” for TAMPER.UX, bundling together several Devious Traits at a discount. Each Defiant Mod is themed around one main trait exclusive to that Mod.

It is not required to use all of the traits contained in a Defiant Mod. However, the limit of 3 traits still applies whether the trait is used or not.
Choose wisely...

Sugarrush Mod - 35
Give your WARE.OS a sweet twist!! Uh… I don’t even want to think about what’s under that frosting…
Contains EXCLUSIVE Sugarcrashed, Exposed Matter.

Repetitive Mod- 35
Has your cat ever fallen asleep on the ctrl + v keys on the keyboard?
This Ware must have, since its body and code are copied countless times!!
Contains EXCLUSIVE Redundant Code, Party Tray.

Misplaced Mod - 35
Something’s missing… we’re sure it can’t have been that important!
Contains EXCLUSIVE Holo RAM, Brainstorm.

Forecast Mod - 30
This WARE.OS needs to chill out! All the strain on its processor is causing its fans to kick
into overdrive, and even that’s not enough to cool things down!!
Contains Thermostat, Brainstorm

Impish Mod - 30
One of the more innocuous creations thrown together, this modification gives Wares a devilish twist.
Contains Thermostat, Landline

Infected Mod- 45
This WARE.OS seems to have been infected with some awful virus. At least, that’s what we THINK happened to cause this horror.
Contains Animated, Errors, Exposed Matter.

PERILOUS PROMPTS
"It's surprisingly easy to hack your WARE.OS, but you have to learn the rules before you break them!!"

Need some extra Suspicious Blueprints fast? Become a research fellow under the tutelage of Dr. Marrow!
He's always looking to learn more about what makes modern WARE.OS tick.

(Submit Prompts at the Bulletin Linked Above!)

Prompts can be completed via drawing or writing! There's no minimum requirement for polish or word count, but we ask that you do put some thought into it!
These prompts are meant as a way to flesh out your characters and their stories, and to be rewarded for doing so!
You may also combine prompts into one piece, if you feel inspired by several at a time and want to connect them!

Prompts can be completed multiple times! Feel free to approach the same prompts from different perspectives!

Warning: Some prompts may deal with horror themes! You're free to interpret prompts however you wish, but we ask that prompts depicting cartoon gore or severe body horror be spoilered when submitted!

PROMPT LIST:
Each prompt yields 5 Blueprints per Ware included in the piece!

1. Chatterbox
Many Ware-OS communicate in unique ways! Speakers, text boxes, you name it!
How does your Ware communicate with the world?
Write a written description, animate a talk sprite, make a short comic, you name it!

2. Fresh Out the Box
The Warehouse provides repair services to all Ware-OS for low low prices!
However, some Wares have taken to handling their own upkeep themselves.
Is your Ware in pristine condition like the day they were stitched together, or have they become frayed and stained with time?

3. Home is Where the Heart Beats
While some Wares commonly view Dr. Callosum as a parental figure, being their creator and all, this isn't always the case!!
Draw/write about your Ware's family, or who they consider to be family.
Alternatively, draw/write about the place that your Ware calls home!

4. Made With Love <3
Many Wares take up the culinary arts as a hobby in order to sustain their quick metabolisms.
What is your Ware's ideal meal? Do they cook it themself, buy it from the store?
Or, have they found another way to maintain their energy demands, like solar panels or hibernation?

5. What's in Demand... 15 Years Ago?
Wow! Times have changed, and trends with them!
Some older models of Wares may act as time capsules for bygone eras of fashion and art.
Draw or write about a time period that your Ware encapsulates! Do they feel more connected to the past or the present?

6. HORROR WARNING: What's Inside Door Number... Me?!
Ware-OS hide their frightening internals behind layers of fabric, plastic, and sweet threads!
Forget being a marketable plush, showcase what REALLY makes up your Ware-OS

7. Like Looking in a Mirror...
Some Wares are based on real animals! But just how close is this resemblance?
Do animals see your Ware as another fluffy friend to play with, or something off-putting and alien?

8. Meet n Greet
Has your Ware ever visited the Warehouse after they were first built?
Draw/write about their interactions with one of the official NPCs, or how they feel about them!

9. And Now for Something Completely Different!
Some Wares were made with, or eventually have added, alternate external casings!
Does your Ware have any alternate designs? Are they just for fun, for special occasions, or do they serve a specific purpose?
Alternatively, you can get into the theoretical!! What would your Ware look like as a humanoid/anthro type Ware-OS?
Or if they already are one, what would they look like as a feral Ware-OS?

10. Research Remnants, Investigative Vestiges
You might've seen some of the mysterious fragments of the Warehouse's history scattered around.
Old test tubes, computer parts, even pieces of unfinished WARE.OS prototypes!!
But sometimes the most important data is a personal anecdote!!
Try coming up with a research remnant of your own, relevant to your character's own story.

11. The Low Low Cost of Science!
Perhaps not all modifications made are all fun and games...
Have any of the modifications your Ware has made to itself (whether Devious Traits/Defiant Mods or otherwise) caused any side effects?
Torn casings that get easily frayed and need upkeep? Sparking collars setting papers ablaze? Glitch-induced lag slowing reaction times?
How does your Ware accommodate for this?
