Public Rules:
By adopting and participating in the community you will need to adhere to all the following rules.
You also agree to follow all current chicken smoothie rules.
Cyx is a closed community. (Their robots let's not argue over it)
Bullying/Begging/Guilt-tripping or Harassing staff or other members of the community is not allowed.
Cyx cannot be based on existing characters.
All TOS (terms of service) listed under artist adopts are to be followed as if official rules.
Cyx cannot transfer out of species.
Cyx can be sold/gifted/traded at any time.
If you are blocked by an artist you may not obtain any of their designs, even through outside sales.
Items owned are tracked by users, not staff.
Staff Rules:
All public rules also apply to staff.
No monthly minimums are set.
Artists must be old enough to use Discord and are required to have it for communication.
Reference sheets are not required.
Paws/Tails must stay disconnected from the body at all times.
Artists must do 2 free adopts for that month before being allowed to do paid adopts.
Paid adopts can be done for $, c$, pets, art, etc.
Adopts not claimed/sold by the end date can be kept by the artist.
Unjudged comps can be judged by a mod after 1 month.
Milestone adopts [#50, 100, 150] are permitted x2 rare traits.
Milestones must be discussed via Discord before posting.
Runner-up rewards can include store items, they cannot include other Cyx, or event items outside of an event.
Nursery Rules:
Rules for use of nursery.
No marking on the nursery page.
Slots can only be opened by nursery artists.
Don't pester/bribe artists to open nursery slots.
Tickets can only be submitted for open slots.
Cyx do not have any partnering rules. [As robots inbreeding does not have consequences]
Baby bots are considered customs and can closely resemble parents or not resemble them at all.
Baby Bots can be transferred 2 weeks after the reveal date.
Baby Bots must be transferred before being able to be used in the nursery.
Parents have a 2-week cooldown.
Cyx have a base of 5 breeding slots, this can be extended with additional items.
All items being used need to be listed on the ticket.
Only parent owners can submit tickets.
If unapproved Cyx are used we will have a 3-warning system before you are banned from the nursery.
Nursery Milestones [#50, 100, 150] will be rolled for every trait on the trait list at 50% pass. Then randomly rolled for 1 event trait including unreleased traits.
Nursery rolls are as such:
80% pass for common traits
50% pass for uncommon traits
20% pass for rare traits
add 10% pass for every additional parent that holds that trait
NR traits used to artists discretion
MYO Rules:
Custom Cyx rules.
MYOs must be approved in the archives, and will not be approved under individual oekaki.
Users can make MYO's for currency. [$, c$, pets, etc.]
MYOs and item additions must have an 'unapproved' or 'fake' written somewhere on the reference until approved.
Off-Oekaki MUST have been uploaded to Toyhouse prior to approval.
Artists can provide MYO's uncommon and under when doing customs.
Reference sheets are not required.
Paws/Tails must stay disconnected from the body at all times.
Transfer Rules:
Cyx Transfer rules.
Can be done by any artist.
Transfers must be approved in the archives to double-check accuracy.
Nursery artists are not required to transfer Baby Bots
Off-Oekaki transfers must be uploaded to Toyhouse.
Cyx cannot be transferred out of the community
Other characters can be transferred into the community with the artist's permission, this will require a MYO.
Reference sheets are not required.
Paws/Tails must stay disconnected from the body at all times.
Re-vamp Rules:
Revamps on existing designs
Designs must be 6 months or older to be re-vamped
Re-vamps must have the artists permission
Designs must still resemble the original design with minor color/pattern changes.
Edit changes are not considered re-vamps and must use proper items.
Artist/Nursery Search Rules:
Must also follow the artist/nursery rules when applying
Keep "fake" or "unapproved" visible unless approved via archives.
No covers
List the rarity and traits
Entries can be claimed with MYOs, with the artist's permission and parents' permission if nursery.
Cannot use any banned or event traits.
Nursery can only use parents from the available list.
