halvania has species that everyone knows of, elves, fairies and dragons. however there are a whole lot more no one has ever heard of before, such as x'invas , deep sea humanoids and even deer like folk. there is never an end of the wonder this world shows.

  • x'inva Extinction

    people believed that x'invas had gone extinct due to the fact that they had begun to get hunted down by the sea creatures, however no one knows if they were actually all killed. some had escaped and formed small civilisations far away from every other species.

  • halvanian war

    war was declared upon the land creatures, as the creatures existing within the depths of the sea wished to take control. however, they were soon defeated as the land forces had a much higher population, and better plans for the war.

    every year there is an annual event between different tribes and species, they all meet up at the heart of halvania (lacina island) and participate in different challenges that determine the strongest tribe, and can reward some adolescents with their first ever life-long companions.

mourning circle once one passes away, all the other living beings within the area are expected to attend the mourning circle and pay their respects.
harvest it is tradition that the males of the x'inva species prepare and harvest the meals for the women of their tribes. this is because they hold deep respect for the women, and all they do.
aurelia lipas if a female x'inva is in labour and ready to give birth the tradtion holds that they travel to their homeland,, the birthplace of all x'inva. they must travel and rest at the tree in the centre of the land, performing a sacred ritual to give birth to a youngling

winapas there's a belief that the dangerous winapa's will come out in the middle of the night and feast upon young. no one has ever seen one, but many believe that they're real four legged mammals with impeccable strength and speed.
death day for some birthdays are thought to be a joyful time, but there's a myth that on ones birthday there's a 50/50 chhance of death occuring. some hide away from everyone else on their birthday because of this myth.

land and sea it is forbidden for younglings to ever enter the sea without an adult by them, if one is caught doing so they will be punished and put on cleaning duty which consists of cleaning up manure from the animals and companions.

Holiday.
milu milu is much like valentines day, it is a celebration of love. not just romantic love, but also family love and platonic love. for x'invas they mainly focus on their love of nature but some celebrate it with eachother.
sveta this holiday lasts for 3 days, the x'inva come together and perform sacred rituals to contact their gods and to bring wealth back into the nature surrounding them.

Explanation of magic. within halinva magic is a very sacred skill one must train to harness. not all have the gift of using magic, some have to rely only on their physical abilities. if one is to use magic to cause harm of someone else then they'll be punished and outcasted from their tribe as that act is completely forbidden. magic can vary from manipulating elements, to making potions and spells or to psychological abilities.

manipulation if someone has the ability to use manipulation, they usually can only manipulate and use one element of their choosing. some can use two, but that takes incredible strength and training. these users can use the element around them and bend it to their will, manipulating it to do what they want.

potions and spells only very few people know how to make potions and use spells, these people are known as viridians. they are chosen by the gods to learn these special and sacred abilities.

psychological a psychological ability could be mind control, illusions or even meaning able to control and manipulate someones emotions and feelings. only certain people have these abilities, and they're usally used for dark and evil purposes.
