What is the Altum?

The Altum is a fictional alternate universe that has been being developed for years. Originally made as a passion project and not intended for anyone else to see, the Altum and its mechanics are still being recorded into understandable words to be shared to the community. ALTUM • ALIVE's main purpose as a server is to explore and record the Altum via live discoveries, events, and reveals that happen over time.

Through the development of your very own characters you will expand everyone's knowledge of the Altum, and use that knowledge to bring everyone's characters to life. Work with others to determine what is fact, legend, or misconception, and uncover the systems that make up the Altum. The focus is currently on the status of Earth and its inhabitants as they unknowingly live alongside the products of a mysterious mutative virus, supernatural entities of unknown origin, the lost history of the universe, and the organizations uncovering it.
