World Map and Capital Cities

The 5 capital cities are labelled here, but there are countless smaller towns and villages dotted all over the continent. Your character can live in a capital, in a village or town you made up, or they could even be adventurers or nomads.

The biomes listed are catch-alls. For example, ‘forest’ means ‘place with trees’. You can draw your character in any type of forest you’d like- spruce, birch, oak, redwood, etc. This applies to all biomes. You can even draw them in biomes that aren’t on Auroralis, such as deserts- vibauras can exist anywhere in any world!

Arna Reef

Arna Reef is a massive coral reed that is home to more species than all the rest of the ocean combined. All walks of sealife exist in the safety of the coral. This includes merpeople and other aquatic sapient life. Though aquatic vibaura are rare, they can commonly be found here!

Buildings in Arna Reef are typically made of rock and dead coral, compacted into sturdy fortresses that can stand decades of erosion. This sturdy wall protects the entrance to large underwater caves which serve as interiors.

Aquice

Aquice is the smallest of the capitals, hidden in the far north. The only ways to get there are by boat or flying, since the mountain range that bars it from the rest of the continent is particularly treacherous. Vibaura present here are usually very fluffy and mainly exhibit feathered or furred wings.

Buildings in Aquice, and most of the north, are made of snow. Most communities in this frigid climate depend on fishing for food.

Majera

Majera is the only capital that is not on the continent, but rather on the largest nearby island. Commonly called “Maja Island,” the landmass serves as a barrier for Arna Reef. Majera is known for its sunny skies and gorgeous weather, and is a popular vacation spot! Most get there by boat, though its possible to fly. Vibauras that manifest in Majera are typically energetic and upbeat.

Buildings on Majera are mainly built with wood and bamboo, though some places use crushed shells to make a cement-like paste, and others use mud for similar reasons.

Horenheid

Horenheid is nestled deep in the arid savannahs of Auroralis. The weather is unbearably hot for most of the day, meaning most travel is done at night. Vibauras manifested in Horenheid are usually scalier than the common vibaura, and may be craftier. Though the area seems unforgiving at first, in reality it is teeming with all sorts of life.

Buildings in Horenheid are built with wood and packed dirt. Clay is commonly gathered from oases and turned into pottery. Dyes made of the local flora bring a splash of color to the artworks.

Temture

Temture is the largest of the capitals, located deep in a temperate forest. It is next to the largest lake in Auroralis, Lake Terra. This makes Temture a popular spot not only for explorers and merchants, but also vacationers. The economy of Temture is among the most stable. Vibaura manifested in Temture are the most varied due to the generalist area, but it is common for them to have a knack for economics.

Buildings in Temture are typically built with wood, stone bricks, or both.

Isoloni

Isoloni is quite mysterious, as it sees very few visitors. The canopy protects Isoloni from any threats, since only an expert flyer could safely weave through the branches, and the rainforest floor is filled with dangerous flora and fauna. Vibaura in Isoloni are typically mysterious and quiet. Though, many others are prone to playing pranks. Visitors are usually allowed, but not shown any hospitality; sometimes it feels as if the citizens are trying to hide something.

Buildings in Isoloni are usually build of wood and supported by giant trees, staying high up in the air. The few ground buildings are also made of wood. Mud is commonly used as a building sealant. Though Isoloni is rich in edible plantmatter and flowers for dyes, the buildings are usually painted deep green or brown to camouflage.
