- Haunted by lots of ghost pokémon as well as general forest residents, they help guard the castle from humans and other intruders
- Firewood and other required flora/herbs are collected
- Guards takes patrols and exchange news with forest pokémon
- In return for protection forest residents may visit the castle anytime and are always taken care of if in need of healing etc
