General Rules
- Basic rules apply when participating in the community. You must be over 13 years old to enter the Discord server. Do not spread any hateful or harmful comments, links, etc. Be respectful and categorically refuse mini-modding.
- Designs / redesigns without MYO or staff approval will not be considered official in this form and cannot be posted on this server. If it comes to light that you are creating unofficial kazuli, you will receive a warning and may even be banned depending on the situation.
- It is forbidden to create multiple accounts or recruit friends to get additional event entries or to farm event currency. Similar to circumventing a lockout, which is also prohibited. This will result in a warning or even a ban depending on the severity.
- Please do not attack other people whose characters have similar characteristics to kazuli. If you have concerns about this, you can dm omniiamne in discord or on toyhouse.
- You cannot create a design based heavily on kazuli appearance with the intention of informing your customers to get MYO to make it official. If you are caught doing this, you will be blacklisted and also the design will be banned from ever becoming official.
Rights
- Kazuli are a closed species by omniiamne.
- I ask users with unofficial designs to refrain from using the Kazuli label.
- You cannot create Kazuli for commercial use unless you have express permission to do so.
- Only staff, chosen Guest Artists, and those with express permission have the rights to create adoptables for the species without the need for a MYO. Only employees, GAs and those with special authorization are allowed to create adapted materials for this species without the need for MYO. Do not sell kazuli adopts without special permission from the administrator or owner. Only GAs and those with special permission are authorized to do so. Resale and re-trading is allowed.
Kazuli Ownership
DO:
- Create an identity for your Kazuli as long as it is not harmful. This includes alternate universes of your kazuli such as other species versions.
- Trade/gift your kazuli. Resell your Kazuli as long as the value does not exceed its sale value.
DO NOT:
- Co-own a Kazuli officially. A Kazuli must only be under one name in the Masterlist.
- Claim Kazuli as your own species.
- Claim a Kazuli's design as your own if you are not the original designer even if you own the design.
Redesigning a Kazuli:
- When redesigning Kazuli please use the original design as the main reference for making the new one. The new design will always be compared to the first version of the design.
- You may purchase items to add or remove traits from your Kazuli. You are also free to add traits to your kazuli as long as they are basic to its subspecies
- Claim a Kazuli's design as your own if you are not the original designer even if you own the design.
Obtaining Kazuli
- You need a toyhouse account to be able to get a character of the species. There are masterlist stored on the site, and I will need your nickname to confirm ownership.
- Purchased Kazuli always have a ‘base value’ depending on the initial sale value the buyer purchased the Kazuli with. This value is constant onsite and never changes. If you purchase any commissions for your Kazuli, it is up to you to keep track of that overall value.
- Most Kazuli sales/raffles/events are facilitated within the Discord group. If you find one claiming to be an official Kazuli hosted by a non-staff member (with no proof of express permission from an admin), please be cautious and report your findings.
Kazuli Sales:
- Flatsales/Fixed price – Fixed prices are adopts that are sold at only a specific price.
- Auctions – Unlike fixed prices, buyers must bid to adopt.
- OTAs – Instead of offering just money, you may offer other characters, art, etc.
- Backing out of bids or sales will result in an official warning as well as a month long ban from participating in any staff sales if a sufficient reason for the back out is not provided.
MYO sales:
- CURVES MYOs: Monthly sale of myo for the currency of the species. Once a month the administration will organize a myo sale on the principle of a lottery with random winners.
- NAME MYOs: You can also purchase myo for the rarer currency of the species. This sale is open permanently, so you don't have to worry about winning or not! To buy such a myo, you need to write to a certain channel in Discord.
- USD MYOs: These MYOs only happen every so often and are paid through USD.
MYO Rules
- Full nudity is not permitted in the masterlist image. Minor gore and other sensitive content is allowed in the masterlist
- MYO slots cannot be sold for real currency unless if it is a USD slot.
- MYO slots can be sold for curves or traded for items.
- Designed slots can only be sold if they have added value to them.
Designs inspired BY of Copyrighted Media
- Users are allowed to make inspired designs from copyrighted media. However designs cannot be a direct copy of the copyright design and must have some distinguishing aspects.
- When designing a character inspired by copyrighted media, you must directly state when having the design approved that it is inspired by copyrighted media as well as provide a reference to the original media so it can be labeled appropriately on the masterlist.
- Designs inspired by copyrighted media cannot be vouchered under any circumstance.
- Designs inspired by copyrighted media can be resold for commissioned value if they have been appraised accordingly.
- Failure to state your character is inspired by copyrighted media will result in an official warning.
- Staff or guest artists are not allowed to sell designs inspired by copyrighted media for money.
- Staff or guest artists are allowed to make inspired designs if no money is involved and will follow the same ruling as user made designs that are inspired off of copyrighted media.
Trading, Selling, and gifting
General rules:
- By Trading/Selling/Gifting a Kazuli, you agree to giving all ownership of said Kazuli to the person whom you are trading with. The receiver has no obligation to keep the identity the previous owner assigned the Terra.
- Terraliens with NSFW art cannot be traded or sold to minors.
- Please respect other users and only offer on a Kazuli if the owner is actively looking to trade/sell. Solicitation is strictly prohibited and may result in a warning or a ban depending on the severity.
- All Kazuli based on pre-existing characters must be sold/traded alongside the character.
OFFICIAL Sale Rules
- You have 3 days to respond to a staff member or Guest Artist if you win their design. If you don't respond in that timeframe, you are suspended from bidding/offering on staff/GA adopts.
- Backout bidding is completely prohibited and against the rules. If you delete a bid, you will also be suspended from offering on sales again.
- Examples of prohibited backouts:
- "I changed my mind."
- Ghosting when pinged + DM’d but you are seen online
- Deleting a bid
- Backouts that are permitted:
- Emergencies
- This is my last bid, I can't go higher."
Voiding/”De-Species”
Voiding (or the “de-species”) of a Kazuli means that you no longer wish to identify your Kazuli as the species. To void a Kazuli, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must own the Kazuli.
- You must be the designer of the Kazuli OR have express permission from the designer to void your Kazuli.
- A voided Kazuli will be marked on the masterlist as such by a “voided” icon.
- If you, for whatever reason, wish to revert the voiding of your Kazuli, you will need another MYO slot to make them an official Kazuli again. You will not need any items that are unavailable to their subspecies to devoid them. You will only need a MYO.
- For voided limited Kazuli, one MYO of a common, uncommon, rare rarity or a limited MYO will be required to de-void them.
When you voiding a character, you need to make a new reference with no species traits on it. The reference can be of any quality, the character will not be voided until the species features are removed. Species traits that must be deleted include:
- All the offshoots (outgrowths) on the antennas
- All the offshoots (outgrowths) at the end of the tail
- Remove all locators (ear shells and chest locator, also tail locator and antennae locators if the tail and antennae have a transparency trait)
- Remove nose or add eyes
