ABOUT

Demi-Shadows are evil magical girls in essence. Bad people, gifted powers by one of the 6 Abyss deities, who use these powers to fight for personal gain. As a Demi-Shadow, you have two forms: a mundane form, and a transformed form. Read more about the two forms below!

BACKGROUND/BELIEFS

Although the Abyss Deities are more picky with who they choose to empower, if they aren't a follower/worshiper, or working for them in some way, Demi-Shadows are still not required to be a follower/worshiper of said deity. Nor do their powers need to be themed after the deity they received their powers from. That being said, it is totally okay for a Demi-Shadow to be a follower/worshiper of one of the deities, and to have their powers flavoured to fit with them.

COMMON TRAIT LIST

These are traits that are NOT optional when making this species:

• Transformed Form: Must have animalistic traits (Such as cat ears and a tail. Not anthro.)
• Transformed Form: Must have a different outfit that is more magical girl-esque or at least more fantasy than typical modern clothing.

APPEARANCE

The mundane form can be a human, elf, tiefling, or really most fantasy races you can think of. But would still look like a modern-day person otherwise. They can do and be anything you could do or be in real life, from barista to office worker, and anything in between!

The transformed form would keep key characteristics of the mundane form, but some things will change, and other things can change if you'd like them to.

Things that will change: they will gain animal characteristics (for example, cat ears and a cat tail, but still humanoid), their outfit will become more magical girl-esque, fantastical, and mystical.

Things that can change: Hair length, colour of eyes/hair, addedd accessories, glowing feeatures (typically eyes or hair).
